We had a very positive experience working with our ID, Nixon. From the first meeting, we were impressed by his professionalism and felt very comfortable with him. His design stood out among all other proposals and exceeded our expectations. He carefully listened to our requests and creatively incorporated our existing bespoke furniture, carvings, and porcelain pieces into the overall design beautifully. The shopping experience was also enjoyable — Nixon suggested items that suited our taste perfectly, and we loved seeing everything come together. Throughout the process, communication was mutual and collaborative. Nixon valued our ideas while providing thoughtful professional suggestions. Although the work schedule and coordination could be more compact, the team remained responsive, cooperative, and professional, especially during the Chinese New Year period. Overall, the renovation outcome exceeded our expectations. Despite minor hiccups and several design amendments along the way, the journey was smooth and enjoyable. We are very satisfied with the final result and truly love our home. We would highly recommend Nixon to anyone looking for a patient, professional, and dedicated interior designer.

I have heard of some horror renovation stories, so we were a bit concerned about it. However, it was such a pleasure dealing with Jiasheng from Starry Homestead. We met 5-6 IDs and decided on Jiasheng, for a few initial reasons: -All the other IDs provided minor revisions to our ideas, but Jiasheng provided 2 extra full blown designs in addition to our original idea. And guess what? His 2 extra ideas were better than our original idea! -Whereas some IDs will tell us if it's doable/not doable, Jiasheng was able to explain what are the limitations in an articulate manner, whether it's a technical/design/regulatory challenge. -Jiasheng 'gets' us - based on that first meeting, Jiasheng's design concept was exactly what we had in mind, whereas the other IDs' designs were more of a hit/ miss As the work progressed and completed, our decision to work with Jiasheng was fully justified: -Jiasheng provided us with a timeline/calendar, along with all the major appliances/items that we will need to buy - this served as a very good document for us to pace our shopping - Project was done within budget and on time, no complication at all. No hidden charge, no surprise items, no drama - Jiasheng was always accommodative to our requests, even if some of them were due to our faults -Jiasheng was always responsive - we never felt neglected or ignored - We were actually overseas for a whole month, and we trusted Jiasheng to continue the work (and he delivered) - Jiasheng was always cool and calm, and he was always ready with a solution/workaround/alternative. - The quality /design was exactly what we were hoping for, we don't feel shortchanged at all. While I hear a lot of my friends talking about how stressful their renovation was, what I experienced was completely different - stress free, fuss free and honestly quite fun. I will miss our regular meetings with Jiasheng. 5 stars for sure!!!!!

We had an amazing experience with Jimmy and would give more than 5 stars if we could. 😊 She’s super patient and kind, and her advice is always helpful and practical. She’s very knowledgeable and really knows her stuff! With one look, she can make sensible judgments and recommend solutions. We were urgently in need of renovation services, and she really came to our rescue. She even came down for a site visit on Christmas Eve, which was really nice of her and meant a lot to us. 🙏 Throughout the whole process, she was responsible, easy to work with, and communicated clearly, so everything felt smooth. Her team was just as impressive. The carpenters were professional and skilled, came on time, and installed everything within a day without making a huge mess. The electrician is also good, the lights and LED strips installed at our place changed the vibe and made it look more luxurious. ✨ so not only is our ID Jimmy great, but the subcontractors under her are solid too 👍🏻 Overall, we are happy with the work! High quality, punctual delivery, and the final result is both functional and aesthetic. We’re so grateful to Jimmy and her team for the amazing service, and we highly recommend Jimmy and Starry Homestead. ❤️

An ID that provides lot of ideas and design for you to choose from. Will always accommodate your schedule and provide guidance on what to look for during renovation. Close monitoring your renovation progress to make sure everything is accordance to design. She patiently listen to your needs and ideas, improvise it if needed to make a nice home to stay in. She will response to your queries and make sure they are answered.

We engaged Starry Homestead mid of 2025 for a full renovation of our 5-room resale HDB. We chose Zheng Sheng as our interior designer, when we met him at a Qanvast event. From the very first meeting, there was a sense of sincerity, warmth, and genuine care that immediately set him apart. On subsequent meetings, Zheng Sheng stood out with his thoughtful approach, creativity and clear passion for design. His proposal was not only visually appealing but practical and tailored to our lifestyle. As first-time homeowners, the entire process initially felt very overwhelming. But Zheng Sheng guided us patiently throughout and worked very closely with us on the recommendations on design, colour scheme, materials, accompanying us to different shops to select materials, lightings, fittings, etc. For a renovation of this scale, we expected that there would have been inevitable bumps along the way. This is where we do see potential for improvement - particularly in project management, keeping timelines, considering lead-times for fabrication and regular updates on the process. That being said, everything worked out eventually and we could move in on the planned date, while having some more works to be done in the weeks after. We understand the realities and pressures of juggling several projects at the same time and nonetheless, this does not take away the positive experience we had. What mattered the most to us was that Zheng Sheng genuinely listened. From the very beginning, he took the effort to understand our requests, preferences, and priorities, and made sure they were reflected in the design. Rather than imposing his own style, he worked closely with us to refine and elevate our ideas into a cohesive final design that felt personal and well thought out. We always felt heard and respected throughout the process. He made sure that everything was carried out properly, spotting defects and following up on the resolution. We appreciate his continued support and sense of responsibility even after the handover. Eventually the results speak for themselves. Our family and friends are equally as amazed as us by the way it turned out. We are incredibly happy and grateful to be living in a space that truly feels like home. Our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to Zheng Sheng for his dedication, care and genuine commitment throughout this journey. It has been an absolute pleasure working with him and we will always remember him fondly for being a key part of this journey. We met our ID Nixon at a renovation fair in July 2024. After speaking with four other companies, we felt his ideas were the most unique and he thoughtfully considered our needs while offering constructive suggestions. He also took the initiative to create 3D mockups in addition to floor plans and mood boards which helped us visualise our future space better. We went with Nixon because of his professionalism, friendly and attentive attitude which we believed would go a long way throughout our renovation journey. During the renovation process, he was very responsive to our queries and was present on-site multiple times to liaise with his contractors, ensuring that the renovation process was smooth and seamless. Although there were a few hiccups along the way due to the contractors, he managed to coordinate and handle all the rectifications we raised which led to our beautiful and cosy living space today. He also kept our renovation costs well within the budget we had specified during our first meeting. We are super thankful and did not regret going with him on this renovation journey (:

Despite being relatively young, the level of professionalism, maturity, and design sensibility brought to the project was impressive. From our very first discussion, it was clear that he was exceptionally attentive to details and genuinely committed to understanding our needs, preferences, and lifestyle before proposing any ideas. What stood out immediately was the ability to grasp our design concept very quickly. With just a brief explanation and a few reference images, Nixon translated our vision into a coherent and beautifully executed plan. There was very little back-and-forth needed because the understanding was precise and intuitive, which made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. He is also extremely resourceful. Whenever we encountered constraints—whether related to space, materials, or budget—practical and creative alternatives were always proposed promptly. It never felt like a problem; instead, it became an opportunity to refine the design even further. This adaptability gave us great confidence throughout the project. What we appreciated most was the meticulous attention to detail across every part of the home, including areas that are often overlooked. Even the bathroom design was treated with the same level of care as the main living spaces. From tile alignment to lighting positions, storage solutions, and finishing touches, nothing was left to chance. Every corner of the home reflects thoughtful planning and careful execution. Communication throughout the project was excellent. Our questions were addressed patiently, and we always felt involved in the decision-making process. Nixon demonstrated strong coordination with contractors and suppliers, ensuring that the work progressed according to plan and met the intended design standards. Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations. The final result is not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional and comfortable to live in. We are extremely satisfied with the outcome and would highly recommend this talented and dedicated interior designer to anyone looking for a professional who truly cares about delivering quality work with passion and precision.

I am happy with the renovation that Homestead Starry did for my house. My ID Johnny always identifies the problems early and gives practical advice. The works are well coordinated and communicative is effective. When there is hiccup along the way, the team quickly resolves it, and the project is delivered at the earlier part of the estimated time frame. The team has made my renovation experience less stressful!

We recently completed our first home renovation journey with Hailey from Starry Homestead. It was for a 4-room BTO with a modern luxury theme. Happy with how everything turned out!! From the outset, Hailey was easy to work with and took the time to understand what we wanted. She had a great eye for design and got our aesthetic concept almost immediately. This made it a lot more efficient as she proposed very appropriate design ideas that hit the mark without many rounds of back-and-forth. Beyond having a great aesthetic eye, Hailey was also a great executor. She was very transparent and communicative throughout the whole reno process. This helped ease a lot of the usual renovation stress. She was very hardworking and hands-on, helping to resolve challenges quickly and professionally. This gave us peace of mind through the process. We were especially impressed by the attention to detail and workmanship. The finishes turned out great thanks to her QC and coordination with the contractors. The place is comfortable, looks amazing and works really well for our daily needs. Overall, this was a positive renovation experience and we’re glad we chose Hailey as our ID. If you’re looking for a reliable and capable interior designer with a great aesthetic eye, we’d definitely recommend her.

Rayson is very responsive and experienced. Throughout the entire project, he has given us frequent updates and always respond to our enquiry despite PH, late nights. He is able to accommodate all of our requests in our home planning despite limitations. He delivered the project within the timeline and budget. He has extensive understanding on the materials and renovation works. When necessary, he steps up to do the work himself so that he is able to handover to us on time. He has never given any excuses. He will quietly and immediately address all our concerns. We are so grateful for Rayson in giving us a dream home.
