Five long months - from waiting for the completion date, to key handover, and finally renovation - but it was all worth it. I’d like to give a huge shoutout to my amazing IDs, Alvan and Jason. Their patience throughout the entire journey - from brainstorming and quotations to multiple idea changes and even renovation hiccups - was truly beyond what I could have asked for. Some things could have gone south, but thanks to their dedication, everything turned out right. Alvan was the backbone of the project, always ensuring my concerns were heard and addressed. Jason, on the other hand, played a crucial role in executing the plan and making sure everything was delivered properly. More than a month after moving in, I still wake up every day feeling satisfied with the outcome. If I were to go through this process again, Alvan and Jason would definitely be at the top of my list.

My wife and I first met Zen at the Qanvast Hangout event and immediately gravitated towards him amongst the ones we met at the event. We’re really glad we went with him. From the start, he was highly responsive and responsible, always on the ball with our questions and requests. Beyond his strong creative eye, Zen took the time to fully understand our vision and never left anything to assumption. We couldn’t recommend him highly enough to anyone looking for an interior designer - we’re certain you’ll have no regrets.

A huge thank you to Stanley and Dylan from Empyrean Design Studio for turning a house into a reality "Home" of my very own style 🥳 Thank God everything ended smoothly within the targeted timeline of 3 months. There were definitely few challenges and unexpected issues, or hiccups along the way as human nothing is 100% perfect. However, they did their very best to solve it as smooth as possible. Best and truly appreciated was every single details were highlighted and updated constantly with no hidden cost. Everything were well discussed before making any decisions no matter how small were the issues. They shared their opinions and helped making good decisions together along the way making it a smooth experience indeed. Love max the kitchen, masterbed room and master bathroom. Everything came into reality from the 3D designs and planning. Overall, thank God it worked out great 👍🏻 Having understanding and professional good relationship to make a "Home" a reality is Important 💖 Thank you guys 💖

Hi everyone, I would like to share some feedback as we are now at the final stage of my renovation. I want to express my appreciation to Vincent for his support and professionalism throughout the entire renovation process. Elvis was recommended to me by a satisfied friend as the interior designer for my resale flat, and engaging him turned out to be one of the best decisions I made for this renovation. After meeting and comparing several interior designers, Elvis stood out for his clear, transparent, and highly competitive pricing. He took the time to walk me through each cost component in detail, patiently explaining the rationale behind his recommendations and ensuring that all my requirements and expectations were clearly aligned from the very beginning. Throughout the project, Elvis consistently demonstrated his vast experience and strong project management capabilities. Engaged Ciseern's Sky Tan & Shermin Teo as ID for our new BTO 5 RM, excellent job done, able to complete the reno work within our tight schedule, both of them very responsible and quick response to our quires, offer us many ideas and solutions. Happy to work with them and very satisfied with the result. Highly recommend. Tried their Celuka waterproof board at kitchen sink area, simply CHEAPER and nicer than traditional concrete support.

We engaged Gwen because she listened closely to what we initially envisioned, while adding her own ideas and expertise along the way. Along the way, Gwen has been patient and accommodating, and very knowledgeable and experienced.

We engaged Iris as our ID and the experience has been good! She is a very patient ID who listens to our living needs and gives very practical advice such as considering height to work station, whether the height of our island table is comfortable for standing and leaning against etc… many things we would not have thought of at this stage. She does not insist on her designs on us (unlike a few we met before engaging Iris), and is always available to answer our questions. Reno price is also very very reasonable for the amount of things we are doing. Overall a great experience with Iris from Taccuino! :)

Gwendolene has been an amazing ID for me and my first home renovation journey. We initially were looking at several IDs and she paid the most attention to what we actually wanted and our vision for the resale flat. She has been very patient with me especially as someone who’s nitpicky and have lots of design ideas and indecisive nature (which speaks a lot). Aside from that, her professional opinions to add on or alter existing designs were timely and very helpful in achieving the vision we wanted for our new place. Highly recommend her as an ID and can’t wait to look at the finished house as it’s nearing the very end.

We were truly impressed with Iris’s professionalism and the exceptional way she managed our renovation. The timeline was clearly planned and communicated, and every detail was carefully discussed, so there were absolutely no surprises. Iris was incredibly patient in listening to our ideas and needs, even during moments when we couldn’t make up our minds and made changes back and forth. She was always very understanding, accommodating, and supportive, consistently helping us fulfill our needs and wants. Throughout the project, Iris maintained very high standards for the quality of workmanship, making the whole process smooth, stress-free, and well managed. We are extremely happy with both the experience and the final result, and we would highly recommend Iris to anyone looking for a dedicated and reliable interior designer.

As we were planning our wedding and house together, we needed an ID who is reliable and gives us timely updates. Micheal always keeps us in the loop and ready to any of our queries. Whenever we faced any issues, he provides alternatives and guides us through the process. He was present when we chose our tiles, vinyl, recommending us on what to get based on our lifestyle and needs. we sought multiple ID before deciding on this firm. We went with this firm due to positive reviews from our friends regarding Micheal’s work and can do attitude. it was also a plus point that the price was reasonable. we can’t wait to complete our house and thank you to Micheal for providing quality work!

We engaged this firm, working directly with Jayden, hoping for peace of mind and professional guidance for our first home. Unfortunately, over a period of 10 months, the experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. After signing the agreement and paying the deposit, there was no proactive follow-up. For the first six months, there was little to no progress unless we actively chased. Only after repeated pressure did we finally receive a first draft, which did not reflect what we had discussed at the start. By that point, many key requirements were clearly missing or misunderstood. I will be attaching screenshots of the designs provided so others can form their own judgment. We then met with Jayden to go through revisions. Following that meeting, we were told updates would be made. However, over the next three months, there was still no finalised 3D design and no revised quotation delivered. Despite continued follow-ups, nothing material was produced. At this stage, we raised our dissatisfaction. Instead of meaningful progress, we were met with repeated excuses, including continued “next week” assurances and explanations that designs were still “downloading” or “rendering” for extended periods. Despite ongoing follow-ups, the core deliverables remained incomplete. After months of delays and explanations without results, we had enough and decided to terminate the engagement and request a refund. Unfortunately, this same pattern of delay and lack of accountability continued during the refund process. We were initially told that 30% of our deposit would be retained, despite there being no usable final design or revised quotation. The refund itself was delayed multiple times and only completed after persistent follow-ups. Engaging an interior designer should reduce stress and provide reassurance, especially for a first home. Sadly, that peace of mind was completely absent here. Based on our experience working with Jayden and this firm, we cannot recommend them.
