The corner terrace house sits on a trapezium shaped plot, wider in front and tapering towards the back. One side shares a common parti wall with an adjacent house. The design strategy was to make the house look like a detached house by bringing the garden into the house at the parti wall where the living room is, allowing better natural light and cross ventilation. From the entrance gate a timber boardwalk by the swimming pool leads to the living room outdoor terrace where a rhythm of vertical column walls provide shade and privacy and turns attention towards the pool and unblocked views towards the front corner of the plot. Internally, on the ground floor, large solid wood paneled and glass sliding doors gives option to an open plan connecting living, dining and outdoor pool terrace. On the parti side, the guest bath cum powder room enjoys peeks into the front courtyard garden while the guest room has a private rear garden. Ascending the garden staircase you arrive at a family area before connecting to master and three other bedrooms with open bathrooms surrounded by garden planters. The master suite in the front enjoys the best views of the pool, garden and courtyard. The third level is an open plan entertainment room again surrounded by gardens and roof terraces with spectacular views over the surrounding estate.
