The well known international French fashion label 'Renoma' from Paris (men's fashion wear, undergarments, jewelry, art) envisaged having a Kuala Lumpur branch integrating the style of a Parisian Grand Café/Restaurant and Gallery of Artworks into the Malaysian fashion environment. Mr Maurice Renoma himself was present during the official opening of 'Renoma Café' and many of his Art is exhibited in the various spaces of the 'Café'. The Renoma Café in KL is the first to open outside France and it will be the stepping stone for expansion in the region. The existing building was renovated with introduction of garden courtyards and an added open roof terrace with bar. The design style is funky and artistic with raw elements like steel, glass and concrete blending with the 'graffiti-style' Artworks.

About Aamer Architects

Aamer’s designs are well known for their ‘flair and curves’ as he views every project as a work of Art, conceived through thorough appreciation of site, context and brief forming an interesting ‘dialogue’ between man and nature. He is the design architect for an extraordinary Golf Clubhouse In Guilin, China whilst in Penang, Malaysia his mixed high rise project “The Landmark” is taking shape. One of Aamer’s clients described his works as “haute architecture” in the sense that they are like ‘haute couture’ or ‘haute cuisine’, custom- and tailor-made to each discerning individual….. thus all uniquely different from each other.
