Tampines (Block 236)

Tired of the usual mess of his mum’s kitchen, our client wanted to refresh the old and dirty HDB kitchen. In order to make the old kitchen feel like new, we took the design approach to contrast from the existing kitchen. From being cluttered with closed cabinets, we proposed multiple open ledges. From a dark colored kitchen, we proposed a light colored kitchen. We were pleasantly surprised to find little pots of plants and cat food occupying the open ledges!
