Because of so many horror stories and experiences that we hear from our friends or friends’ friends on their home renovation journey, this makes it even more rare to hear people engaging the same interior designer again in their next home. However, for us is totally different! Our Interior Designer is Gabriel from HOFT and he is a joy to work with. We know Gabriel 7 years ago and he was our very first ID when we got our BTO HDB in Dawson Road. He did such a fantastic job 7 years ago that we did not bother to shop for other IDs but just went straight to him in 2022 when we require renovation at our new place at Alex Residences. We gave Gabriel some photos and ideas that we got from Pinterest on how we like our new home to be and he immediately able to understand and able to sketch out a mock up for us to visualize which really impressed us. Gabriel has a good eye for details on colours, texture matching and gave us his expertise on what looks nice and what does not. He is also really patient and doesn’t fazed easily when unforeseen things are needed to be fixed and always have ways to solve them. This really gave us a lot of confidence and our experience was rather stress-free throughout and renovation was completed within the expected timeline. During defect checking, all his contractors are always very reliable, prompt and professional to get all areas rectify within the promised date and timeline. Gabriel will always follow-up with a call to check on the progress and ensure completion. Throughout the entire renovation process and even way before we sign the contract, Gabriel reply to us on our queries has always been very prompt. In cases whereby he is not available and not able to reply immediately, he will give us a holding reply and definitely get back to us once he is available. Even after handover when full payment has already been made, Gabriel continued to reply very promptly to our messages when certain things are faulty. We also have received many compliments on our home interior from our friends and family who came over during house warming. And when friends asked if we would recommend HOFT for their upcoming renovation journey? Yes, definitely – without a doubt. Just like 7 years ago, we have never regretted engaging Gabriel from HOFT as our ID who has helped us in creating a home that’s super cozy and comfortable. Thank you so much Gabriel for yet another pleasant home renovation experience again! :)
