We engaged Kim for a full renovation of an older resale flat and we’re really satisfied with the outcome! On design, Kim had a clear idea of the design she suggested and proposed additional features which bring out the character of the space. She was also helpful, proactive and decisive in guiding material selection. We are very satisfied with how the design turned out in reality, and can say that it matches the proposed design renders delivered. As a project manager, Kim was friendly and responsive throughout the reno process. We were very impressed that the project finished well within our expected timeframe. She arranged the different works so that there was minimal dead-time between installation by the different sub-cons. The workmanship was mostly good throughout the flat, and Kim quickly contacted the relevant sub-cons to address any defects we identified. We visited >5 IDs before deciding to go with Kim and while Key Concept wasn't the cheapest ID out of those we visited, the overall experience was pleasant and smooth. As we both didn't have time to visit the flat frequently, we felt assured throughout the reno that Kim would supervise the works competently and consult us on any decisions we needed to make. Would recommend Kim to anyone who prioritises good design and project management!

We were introduced to Jolin of KeyConcept at a Qanvast fair and as first time homeowners left the ideation in her hands after a quick moodboard run through. She has a very cosy space aesthetic and also took the time to look out for different textures for us in the next meeting in line with our preferences for wood countertops. We definitely appreciated these extra steps and attention to details that make a home, as well as the fact that she was always pleasant and never pushy.

We engaged Ce Xun from Key Concepts after shortlisting 4-5 ID firms in end of May. His concepts and designs idea really help to separate him among the other competitors. The journey was not smooth-sailing in any ways as we got a resale flat and things are not as easily seen like hacking process that took a few times to complete due to the hard flooring of the flat. We wanted to move in before the hungry ghost festival which is 2.5 month from the time we engaged him and he did his best to make it possible as we are renovating almost the whole house (hacking of entire house, tiling, both bathrooms, partition work, carpentry work). Responsiveness might not be his top thing but he will eventually get back at the end of the day or the next and we are pretty happy that the journey got through at the end. There were also quite a bit of changes here and there as we want to add some things in or modify some works that was intended but Ce Xun is always accommodating to our request and will tell us if it doesn't work or not feasible to have those. Thanks Ce Xun for making our second home a nice and beautiful one.
