The bathrooms are clad fully in stone; the wash basins are detailed to be fully clad in a stone enclosure to maintain the monolithic environment, off-set only by custom handles of the shower glass doors. In fact, most of the door handles in the house are custom-made pieces.
To introduce light into the house, we inserted a perforated steel sheet, bent and folded to create the staircase flights, into the stair core via pin-jointing to the RC walls either side.
