''Petit h'' is a special event held annually by Hermes, the famous Parisian fashion house. Designers take rejected and irregular materials—leather, cloth, and ceramic—and create unique pieces for sale. In 2013, the petit h pop-up shop was in Singapore. Lekker designed the interiors, windows, and graphics.
This was one of an ongoing series of collaborations between Hermes and our office. For several years, we have created windows displays for Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and Bangkok. In addition, we have been responsible for events and a range of specialized design commissions.
About Lekker Architects
We are a Singapore-based practice specializing in buildings and environments. Co-founders Ong Ker-Shing and Joshua Comaroff began working together as Lekker Design in 2002, after studying architecture and landscape at Harvard University.
Our approach combines the specific requirements of the client with a range of ongoing explorations in geometry, in material and detail, and in architectural meanings and typologies.
Recent projects have included houses and landscapes, as well as master planning and furniture design.
