M3 Studios was one of the 5 IDs that was recommended to us from Qanvast. Our designer, Su Min stood out for us, as she was able to provide me a solution for one of my kitchen cabinets, something which many IDs could not. Throughout the renovation process, she was very patient and meticulous, and we often seek her for advice, especially when buying furniture. Even though we decided to engage an electrician ourselves, Su Min help to oversee and manage the electrical work as well, even though it was not required of her. Overall, we were really satisfied and grateful that Su Min helped to bring out our crazy ideas to life. Renovation completed in: December 2016 Cost of renovation: $38,000

M3 Studio left us a good impression during our meetup. As we are concern about storage space, Montie is able to work on it and the design was very nice. He is able to merge the design with home living ideas. Montie is also very patient with us as we took some time to choose the materials and did change our ideas a few times. He did told us the things that can't be done and never over-promised. He also did some adjustments to the shoe cabinet just so that the sofa can fit in its designed place. We even receive updates on the process regularly. It was a pleasant experience working with them and we recommended their service to some of our friends. Renovation completed in: December 2016 Cost of renovation: $42,000

When we met Su Min, we felt that we had an instant connection with her. She was able to understand what we want for the house and we felt comfortable entrusting our home renovation to her. Indeed, she did not disappoint. She’s very accommodating and understanding. We encountered a delay in our key collection and we were really anxious to move in. Coincidentally, she was on two weeks wedding leave, but she would still take the effort to reply our messages promptly. This shows her commitment to our project. When she's on-site, she would always send us photos and videos of what has been completed on that day. It put us at ease because we know that she is very invested in the project. There was once when I popped by the house to oversee the renovation works. There were about fifteen contractors there at that time and they were all doing their work, without getting in each other's way. I was really impressed by her coordination skills and her team of contractors. She really managed to achieve maximum efficiency! I'll strongly recommend Su Min. Renovation completed in: April 2016 Cost of renovation: $51,000

Chemistry with the interior designer is important for us as we both understand that there is no such thing as a perfect renovation. That is why we chose to work with Haikel because he was very open about what we needed to do, the cost involved and the things that we needed to avoid. It is hard to visualize how the house will look before renovation but he is willing to help us by giving us information and bringing us to multiple suppliers so that we are able to make clear choices, especially in our flooring and living room.

Our IDs are actually our friends from before and hence we trusted them to renovate our house. Monty and Haikal, our IDs, were very creative in their designs and provided many ideas which we liked. For example they designed a brick feature wall which turned out nicely and is our favourite part of the house. Post renovation Monty and Haikal regularly followed up with us to make sure everything was alright. Even today we still have a group chat and hence it is easy to reach out to our IDs if we require touch up in the house.
