Engaged Space Atelier for our very first commercial renovation in Ubi Ave because of their detailed quotation and honest evaluation of the project's timeline due to the covid restriction imposed this year. Quotation provided by SA is a fair estimation of what was shown to us on the 3D images, as variation quotation only consists of those add-ons that we did not managed to captured at the preliminary planning stage as a team. Designer Yang Hann, that was in charge of our project, demonstrated professional work ethics and personality throughout the course of renovation; starting from the engagement, design brainstorming, budget costing, material selection, work in progress, periodic project update and meeting the project timeline. What intrigues us the most is his honesty with turning designs into reality, keeping in check of our expectations of what can be done in reality while aligning with what is shown in the visual setup. He showed us the purpose of engaging a designer when he used his expertise to turn our ideas and designs into a final workpiece with theme, and always open to modification and new ideas from us which turned the whole discussion process into one with direction and objectives. Despite the shortage of manpower due to various reasons in their industry, he did not impose the problems on us and always tried his best to coordinate on his ends to make sure the project does not exceed the timeline that was initially agreed. Along the course of renovation, Yang Hann shared various tips and suggestions and ensure the project could complete with as minimal add-ons or modification as possible, this value-added service was greatly appreciated by us as it allows us to shift in with ease and little difficulties faced. It was indeed a pleasure to be with Space Atelier and designer Yang Hann in this renovation journey. We will definitely choose them again in the future when the chance is called upon.
