I thank all of you strangers who stop by to read this lengthy review. I am not one who is big on reviews. Good or bad, whatever I experience, is personal and even if I share, it would be within family and very close friends. However, when it comes to sharing this particular experience, I want to share it with the whole world! 😉 The Work 1. Well within my budget 2. Every single detail was to my liking; if something had to be modified, it was conveyed to me first. Only after my approval did he change it; which wasn't much, and nothing major. 3. I was always given choices for material, in 3 different price ranges with explanation. And the decision were always mine after wise advices and suggestions from Keith. 4. The entire crew (and I am not exaggerating), right from hackers to the painters, they were professionals; they were committed, always punctual and I never had the need to complain. - this is possible ONLY because KEITH has built such a rapport with his contractors and definitely excellent in managing them, buffering hiccups from his clients, should there be any. So much so, I didn't feel any strain or stress of the renovation journey that I had heard and still hearing about from other homeowners. 5. Details which I missed out, Keith never let those slip by, ensuring on both design and functionality. 6. 95% of the work was done within 6 weeks, acceding to my request. 7. The Result - Keith helped me built my haven... not just as an ID, but as a caring, considerate friend (stranger 2 months before) About Keith Before choosing an ID, I had read hundreds of reviews on how things had gone really bad for some people; while others created their safe haven, just the way they had dreamt of it, right to the smallest of details. And such a thing is possible only if you meet THE designer. And I am super blessed that I met THE designer in Keith Kang from The Interior Maison , truly a mason. I met Keith, the 10th ID I sat with, after 9 others over a period of 2 weeks. Keith was very different right from the beginning. He knew my hp would be flooded with msgs once I registered with Qanvast. So, he waited a couple of days before contacting me. And this is an excellent characteristic of Keith - he is very very considerate. And when I finally met him, there was this ID-homeowner chemistry and we clicked. 😊 It was a full house renovation. I had my ideas - the needs and the wants. I made a simple drawing of every area of my 91sqm 4 rm HDB apartment 😆 and Keith patiently listened to all the details. He understood my "primary school" drawing and transferred it into a professional artist impression. My entire renovation journey was such a beautiful one. There were times when Keith and I had differing views. One example would be the colors. Being female, I guess I always preferred one or two shades lighter. Keith, as an ID had suggested tones which were a bit stronger, to suit the theme... however, we went with my choices and when it turned out well, he despite being the expert, very humbly applauded my decision. There was this incident.... when I saw the ever cool Keith getting upset..... We had ordered a custom-made barn door. What was delivered to us was smaller in size. Which, honestly, I didn't at first noticed. And Keith could have just not told me and made life easier for himself and the contractors. Instead, he made sure the carpenters took it back and build a new set of doors. And there was no extra cost on me. My renovation was done back in 2019. Even after 3 years, I still remember all the special moments. From seeing my eyesore old kitchen transforming into my beautiful, elegant kitchen, to seeing my dream come true open concept apartment... I have enjoyed the whole journey. Thank You Keith.
