Reno for 5-room resale

It was a pleasant experience working with Roy Koh from U-Home Interior Design. We engaged him 5 years ago for our BTO flat, and decided to work with him again when we got our current 5-room resale. We did a whole house revamp, which included new flooring, both toilets and carpentry for walk-in wardrobe and kitchen. Roy was able to give honest and good insights based on his close to 20 years of experience in the industry. He understood our requirements, even counter-proposed with better alternatives, and was understanding enough when we informed that we had to source out for other vendors to do other small works due to budget or requirements. Roy also managed our expectations well, especially in terms of timeline and completion. He helped to liaise with the other vendors i.e. blinds/curtains, lightings. The whole renovation was completed within our expected timeframe, despite some minor delays. We learnt that renovating a resale flat is very different from a BTO flat – no renovation process is 100% smooth, but Roy was able to address our queries, any changes and rectifications that we needed to make even after the handover date. In terms of pricing, we have done some market research and found that U-Home’s quotes are quite reasonable. Thank you Roy for being the good work done and your patience, especially in entertaining our late messages sometimes when we get the reno jitters. We are happy to recommend U-Home and Roy to friends and family who are looking to renovate their place.
