My Husband and myself went through many rough times looking for an ID, but didnt meet our needs and interest. Found GC on qanvas, went for our First meet up and immediately caught our attention on how the way shawn presented himself and explained our needs and wants. My first impression of Shawn was that he is an honest and experienced ID who is very calm and collected. He comes across as someone who knows his work well and is not assertive to his clients, factors that are important when selecting your ID. It was a good experience working with Shawn. He readily listens to your ideas and comments, and will agree or disagree based on sound facts and common sense. He will propose improvements and alternatives to cater to your needs and vision for the renovation design. He is always practical and mindful in his suggestions so that the renovation costs and time-frame are adhered to. Shawn is very prompt and clear in his communication with us, which prevents any unwanted ambiguity, especially with costing and material selection. Shawn has successfully exceeded our design vision for our new EA HDB house. He is very current in his design, has good design language and can anticipate future complications and obstacles, factors which are important in our decision-making. My wife and I are quite impressed with the way the whole renovation was carried out by his contractors which are systematic, coordinated and well-planned. In terms of construction quality and design detailing, all of my friends and relatives who visited our house are duly impressed. Most importantly, Shawn has kept the overall renovation cost not to be excessively over budget (not due to Shawn, but mainly due to our own modifications and additional items) and the house was handed over within the promised time frame although with the large amount of work, something that very few IDs can deliver these days. Shawn was the ID for our house. He was very responsive to our queries and requirements. He was also very responsible as he follows up with the renovation progress and gave us updates frequently. We are truly grateful to him as he delivered a more than satisfactory job despite the tight tineline we have given him. The price that he has quoted was also very reasonable. All in all, we will definitely recommend Glamour Concept to our friends and family should they require renovation services.
