We're grateful to have had Erika as our ID for our home renovation. Our timelines were quite tight, as everything needed to be done in a month. Erika was very patient with us, especially when we hit a few bumps causing some slight delays with the renovation. She hustled hard to make sure we could still move in without a hitch and continuously reassuring us that we would still meet our timeline without any issues. We leaned a lot on her advice and experience, and we are delighted with the overall outcomes! My interior designers were Erika and Marshall. It was an easy process working with them. They were responsible, knowledgeable, and patiently answered my enquiries. As my new place is at the other end of where I was staying, I was a tad lazy to go down to have a look-see during the renovation especially when I won't know what is going on. They took care of everything and gave me regular updates for each milestone, providing solutions to solve any issues that arise. As this is my first house, I don't have much of an idea of the kind of storage/drawers/cupboards I want for my kitchen. Erika asked questions to give me an idea of the placement of drawers and shelves that would work for me. Even recommended a spice drawer next to my stove which is very convenient and now full! Already recommended them to my friends!

My wife and I have engaged Marshall from Apex Studios because he was able to give me confidence during our initial conversation of his interior design ideas. Past reviews also shown his ability to project manage and stick to timelines. My designer has always been responsive and taking the initiative to inform me soonest of any developments. For example, sensing that we are most excited about the hacking of my room wall and replacing it with glass panels, he took effort to inform us of its progress, with pictures and videos. This, and couple other updates, had kept our excitement level high throughout the renovation journey. Updates were regularly conveyed to me, and he is sure to ask me for my final approval before something major was done (that would be costly to change). My designer was very forthcoming and straightforward. Knowing zero industrial jargons, he made sure to explain each item in detail in lay man's terms, so that we could understand what we were paying for and what was the outcome Apex Studios worked towards – in terms of design and functionality. After tons of research off the Internet, my wife has had multiple ideas on her ideal kitchen island. She was later overwhelmed with conflicting design ideas and functionalities. My designer was able to propose solutions and discuss it with her on her requirements like kitchen island height, finish, power sockets, LED lightning and its size (tough to fit in our small BTO kitchen). I witnessed the discussions where Marshall's patience was key to bringing her desires to fruition. All conflicting ideas were ironed out smoothly, and she was happy with her decision at the end. The product came out better than expected. Marshall's service style is short and sweet, at a frequency that made sense, which is pretty aligned to my style. He is professional and upfront, so I am happy with the service. I had no idea on how to develop my room into a music studio, but he was able to put the picture in my head and we worked towards the vision. The project was completed within the agreed timeline. My wife and I were recommended a few IDs through qanvast and Wesley from APEX Studio was one of the IDs who stood out to us. Wesley was very responsive from the get go and his designs matched our requirements. During the renovation process, Wesley managed the contractors well and provided timely updates with pictures of the renovation via WhatsApp. Even though there were slight defects to the carpentry, Wesley made it a point to ensure it was rectified before handing over the unit to us. We have discuss our renovation floor plans with 5 studios before decided on engaging Dylan. He is accommodating to our needs, especially the kitchen. We have made multiple changed to his designs before settling on the final options. He would update us on the increased in prices with every other changes and also the changes in completion timeline. 4 months after handling over the project, we found bubbles in some of the laminate doors at the dinning area. He replaced them without any queries.

It was a pleasure experience to work with the team in Apex Studios. They were meticulous both in their planning and in their execution. I really appreciate their can do attitude despite the multiple change requests we put forth. The team was also able to deliver within our right schedule without compromising on quality. Additionally, Apex Studios deserve praises for their after sales services. They are extremely prompt in responding to any queries and concerns post renovations. We were referred to Shawn by my cousin who engaged his renovation service many years back and gave good reviews on his service and carpentry quality. Indeed, Apex did not disappoint us - we are satisfied with the final look and quality of the renovation. As per any renovation there are bound to be issues encountered but Erika, Shawn and team always strive to resolve them to the best of their ability, sometimes responding to messages even in the wee hours of the night! There were inevitable delays due to Covid but the team tried their best to rush the completion. We would recommend them to anyone who plans to renovate their home.

Apex Studios was recommended to us by Qanvast, amongst other interior design firms. We went through the list of recommended firms and had meet-up sessions with all of them to get a better feel of what we wanted for our renovation, how much the firms charged for the renovation, and to get a better understanding of how the IDs worked so that we could find the best fit for us. After reviewing the quotations with each firm, we decided on Apex Studios as they offered reasonable renovation solutions and ideas with an affordable price that fit in our budget. During the brainstorming phases, Marshall was able to think out of the box to help us resolve some of our issues with positioning of cupboards, etc. Marshall was also quick to respond to our queries most of the time. Changes could be made quite easily, and Marshall would add them in to the Variation Orders. Workmanship for the carpentry were quite good. The painting/box-ups/carpentry were improved after Marshall came down and saw some unsatisfactory areas and promptly rejected them for better quality workmanship. Budget was exceeded a bit in the end due to the Variation Orders, but timeline was kept to.

We chose Apex Studios because Erika came across as the most down-to-earth, sincere, and honest interior designer that we've spoken with. While COVID certainly made things slow down, communications were never a problem. She has *very* patiently worked through with us the multiple iterations of our home design, given level-headed advice, and accompanied us to the myriad of shops. Erika's designs were well-thought-out, and elegant too. Thanks for designing and building us a beautiful home!
