I am a total amateur in everything related to interior design, renovation and household matters, so I thought I'd be in some trouble when I bought a 38-year old resale 5-room flat. It's huge, but very tired and needed a lot more than some sprucing up. Getting the flat into a liveable state was supposed to be a stressful journey, and certainly felt like it until Glendiz and Jocelyn came along. All my needs, wants and other preferences were considered during the planning phases, and the end result is a spacious home with an elegant and timeless design, brought to life by the expertise and professionalism of the designers and the crew. The pictures speak for themselves! Like all new homeowners, I had many questions throughout the process, but Glendiz and Jocelyn were only a text away. We were introduced to Jocelyn and Anna via Qanvast. Out of 5 firms, only Jocelyn called for a site visit to asses existing layout, structures and any issues that may arise; which I think was very important factor before progressing further. That showed that Jocelyn and Anna really listened and genuinely wanted to understand what the client needs. Another factor that made us proceed with Metier Planner is their local resources especially on carpentry works. It was a major renovation and we were pressed for time, there were some challenges in some detailing works but Jocelyn and Anna managed to achieve the overall design that we envisioned. There were few tailor made requests on carpentry works that were not very common, but Joceyln and Anna managed to achieve it. They have also helped us with lots of coordination works with different vendors especially on few complicated appliances installations. There may be a slight setbacks on some detailing works as the workers may not followed instruction or received site supervision but Jocelyn and Anna would immediately attended to the issues and provided solution. Having an experienced and responsible ID is very important in your renovation journey, and we are very pleased that our new place achieved the look that we have envisioned, which will not be possible without the help of Jocelyn and Anna

My husband and I would like to express our heartful gratitude towards Glendiz for her exemplary service throughout our renovation journey. Despite being a junior designer, Glendiz is seemingly a master in her craft. With her extensive knowledge and skill set in interior designing, she was able to provide us with valuable insights which enhances both the aesthetics and functionality of our home; yet respectfully preserving our initial vision. As first time home buyers, my husband and I had many concerns during the renovation process. Without fail, Glendiz promptly addressed our queries thoroughly with patience and confidence. Thus, allowing us to entrust her with building our dream home. Once again, we would like to say a big THANK YOU to Glendiz and team for their heart and hard work over the past three months. Few things stood out in my interaction with the firm - They knew exactly what I wanted, even though my description to them was very vague. I told Anna that I want something dark, modern, and full of wooden tones, without too much details on the exact design that I wanted. The first mock-up that the firm did for me already exceeded my expectation, and was eventually the design that we went with. - They are flexible. The original design that I had for my common bedroom was designed as a guest room + study, but eventually I decided to make it into a full study. They were gracious enough to redesign the room for me to fit my purpose (the ceiling height magnetic blackboard was ingenious!) - They handle unforeseen circumstances well. The lighting shop where I purchase my ceiling lights from provided the wrong depth dimensions, and wasn't able to fit into the false ceiling tunnel. Anna took the initiative to negotiate with the lighting shop, switched to a similar but shallower light, went down to their warehouse for the swap, and had the electrician reinstall the light for me. The cost of renovation is affordable given the quality of the product. Happy to engage them again for future projects!

I've engaged Metier Planner through friend's recommendation. The whole process was quite smooth despite Covid-19 situation. Jocelyn has planned and organized our renovation schedule timely. As first time buyers to our new BTO, there were many things that we were uncertain, but Jocelyn responded to our queries promptly and clarified with us on any doubts that we have. For the design of our house, we briefly mentioned about the Style & Feel of how we would want the house to be, the rest was up to Jocelyn proposal of her creative ideas to us. As there will definitely be new expectations & changes along the way, especially for carpentry design and requirements, Jocelyn was able to handle our request efficiently, and was able to give her professional insights on the Do's & Don'ts. Overall the quality of the work is outstanding, only some minor issues that needs to be rectified on tiles and carpentry of the Kitchen area after we officially shifted in. Highlighted the issues to Jocelyn and she has promptly help to arrange her contractors to rectify them. One of the most outstanding qualities of her is that she has always delegate and prioritize the renovation process efficiently and thus preventing any potential bottle-neck or dependencies which may delay the overall timeline. Overall, I would strongly recommend Metier Planner to anyone who needs to get their house renovated and know that you won't be disappointed.

I spoke with many IDs to get quotes. Perhaps it was because mine is a one bedder condo project, most IDs seemed not interested or provided commercialised designs. Only Anna and Jocelyn listened to my requirements and designed a space that I could see myself living in. Throughout the design process, Anna and Jocelyn gave expert suggestions and always made sure to let me know the pros and cons of each option. As with every renovation project, there were hiccups and unexpected issues. Anna resolved these issues competently and gave practical suggestions. I liked how Anna managed the entire project and did not have to worry much about the whole renovation process - which was exactly the reason why I decided to engage an ID in the first place. Overall, I was really happy with how my apartment turned out and would recommend Metier Planner to my family and friends.

Jocelyn was able to plan and coordinate the wonderful outcome with very tight constraints during the Covid period. The outcome was a very chic, polished and elegant modern design and homely which made us very satisfied with her work and ideas. Not only the timeline was well planned but there were minimal changes. Maximisation of space was also well thought out especially in times where work from home is more prevalent. We are happy with the outcome and we can really have a place to live work and play.

Our designer, Anna, was a fantastic lady which helps you translate your thoughts, wants and ideas into reality. With the limitation of trying to put an antique chair with a unique color into the new house, the balance within the house would be thrown off if we requested for a very basic design. Anna came up with several ideas to match the entire house so that the chair can blend in perfectly, which she did without much issues. Despite the expected delays due to shortage of workers and numerous projects amid the COVID-19 period, the team still managed to handover the house within the estimated timeline and this has reduced many unforeseen issues from occurring. Two years ago, I entrusted the renovation of my home to Metier Planner and the talented designer Jaslynn, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Today, I am as in love with my home as I was on day one, which speaks volumes about the enduring appeal and quality of their work. We renovated our entire HDB in a rush, since our lease was expiring. Jocelyn was extremely professional and knowledgeable, and went through the designs with us repeatedly even when we kept changing our minds. The design was better than we had anticipated, and it was a relatively stress-free journey as most of the necessary arrangements were done by Jocelyn, and needed little input from us. She also guided us and provided us suggestions when we were having difficulties with deciding on what we wanted. Overall, a good experience and we're very pleased with the house.

Jocelyn is extremely detail oriented and easy to work with, happy to provide suggestions when we needed guidance on choosing our tiles and complimentary wall colours. She is also efficient and kept us updated throughout the entire process, flexible in working with our requirements and constraints. Overall she is has given us a cozy and much brighter home Very impressed with the high level of professionalism by the design team and they were amazing. Jaslynn is responsive to all questions. She is friendly, cheery, knowledgeable and responsible. She designed a nice and cosy room for my parents. It has a broad walkway to the bathroom and the wardrobe. Their beds have round edges. The wardrobe width and height of drawers and shelves are great. My parents love this new bedroom so much that the old bedroom was immediately forgotten. It was a complete 360 degrees change. I am grateful that Metier Planner accepted this little project. I saw Metier Planner on homeRenoguru on my first visit and sent a request. The next day Jaslynn WhatsApp me. During our first meeting, she was very professional and friendly. It wasn't difficult to tell her my goal. Her professionalism is superb. I will recommend Metier Planner to my friends and family.
