Her eye for details in every aspect of the renovation was incredible. I would like to applaud how accommodating she was from the consultation to the handover day. Among all the IDs we consulted, Ascend gave us a very artistic vibe from the moment we stepped into their office/showroom. Our assigned ID, Siang Wee, is incredibly talented and professional, making our renovation journey truly enjoyable. She captured our requirements and planned a layout that was very close to our dream home from the very beginning. Her artistic vision was evident throughout the project, and we had excellent chemistry with her. We are very grateful to have had Siang Wee on our renovation journey and will definitely recommend her to everyone in need of renovation services.

We absolutely love our home. Brief to Agnes was "warm, lots of light, luxurious but not in your face (aka quiet luxury), lots of different earthy materials." And Agnes nailed the brief! Agnes has a really strong aesthetic sense and a good grasp of the interplay of textures, materials and colours. Having looked through some of the other projects he has worked on that vary across different interior design styles, I will say that he is also an extremely versatile designer. So much so that I can confidently say that he will be able to deliver on your desired aesthetic (or any aesthetic for that matter). Agnes was also able to utilize the space of our 4 room flat extremely well. It feels so much more spacious than other 4 room flats we have visited in our development. Truly the hallmark of a good ID! Agnes' other underrated strength is his ability to say no (in a very nice way =)) to some of the options I put out and this is one of the top reasons i would recommend him! (Why else would you hire an ID if all he/she does is agree with all your choices amirite?). Yanhao, who handled the project management side of things, is extremely responsive! He always responds timely to my gazillion messages. Importantly, he has a "can-do" attitude (a trait that is often taken for granted) and even when met with a difficult ask from myself, he would respond with "I try my best!", "I see what I can do for you!", "I'll try to help you!". He has an awesome work ethic and has been such a great pleasure to work with!! While not without hiccups, this renovation wouldn't have been completed as swiftly without him. Once renovation was complete and Ascend handed over the unit to us, I was particularly pleased with Ascend's commitment w.r.t progressing rectification works of defects (bear in mind that no renovation is a 100% perfect). Ascend has ensured that every single concern of ours (be it carpentry, glass works, painting etc.) has been addressed and adopted a positive attitude throughout the course of the rectification works - for that, I'm grateful! Husband said to me the other day: "Can we just apply for 2 weeks leave and stay at home, instead of travelling? I feel like i haven't enjoyed this house enough. I'm half serious." Like i said, we really love our home.

Working with Ascend Design was an absolute pleasure. Agnes and Jasper was our designer and they have a remarkable ability to blend creativity with practicality, resulting in spaces that are not only stunning but also functional. Their attention to detail and thoughtful approach truly transformed our home. They understood our vision effortlessly and translated it into a space that exceeded our expectations. Got recommended to Ascend Design by a friend. Was blessed that our ID was Jasper. He’s a good listener and was very attentive to the style we had in mind, provided us questions to understand what we needed in the house, curated a design which exceeded our expectations. Even surprised us with details we thought couldn’t happen in our house as it’s a small 4rm hdb. Yan hao, our project manager went out of his way in helping us manage our house. Was swift in response to any problems faced like there’s nothing that can’t be solved. Talking to him soothes our anxiety, it’s easy talking to him. Read and watched so many renovations horrors on social media, I was so glad to have chosen Ascend Design as they gave top quality work. Even though my 958 square feet 4 rm hse looks small they are why people hire IDs. I would highly recommend Ascend Design.

We had an excellent experience with Alfred and Ren Hao of Ascend, and would be very happy to recommend to anybody! Our first meeting with Alfred took place at Ascend's studio where we used the flat's floor plan to begin sketching out a few ideas; Alfred asked us lots of questions to begin to understand the vibe/feel/specific features we were looking for for our renovation. The second meeting Alfred provided us with a mood board, and we begun narrowing down on ideas, before the third meeting where we finalised the options and had a rough quote from Ren Hao. We were quite open to design ideas and we found the conversations with Alfred extremely useful to begin deciding on an aesthetic and deisgn for our flat. We ultimately opted for a modern/scandi design but with more traditional English motfis throughout the flat too. Such was the quality of the design and experience so far, we worried that the costs would be much higher than other IDs we had spoken to. Instead, the price was very reasonable/competitive and we were delighted. After we signed up, we had three renders and Alfred was very attentive to make both big changes and subtle tweaks according to our wishes. We were very grateful for Alfred's professional input and recommendations at this stage - in particular his attention to the small details which all come together to give the final look harmony and balance to the eye. Once the renders were completed we did the material selections with both Alfred and Ren Hao giving their input to ensure that our choices would both work aesthetically and be within budget/our timeframe. We particularly enjoyed going tile shopping with Alfred who again, was excellent with his attention to detail and ensuring great continuity and harmony across the whole flat. Once the renovation itself started, we liaised more with Ren Hao, but Alfred remained "on all" via the WhatsApp chat to give his opinions on things such as the final size of shelving, the placement of lights and the colour of the walls. Again, we felt very reassured that an expert was supporting us to ensure the final look was as good as could be. As to the renovation itself, we were very impressed by Ren Hao's responsiveness to our queries and proactive checking on the progress and rectifying any issues. Thankfully not much went wrong, but when it did (eg the wrongful hacking of a parquet floor by the contractors), Ren Hao ensured that it was all rectified (at no cost to us) without us even needing to ask. Ren Hao also had excellent attention to detail for the little things such as having the Air Con units moved from their original position so that the cupboard door did not hit them. Ren Hao being so responsive and proactive ultimately made the renovation process very stress-free for us as we felt reassured that the works were progressing on time and to a high standard. The vibe on our group chat was very positive and we had no qualms double checking things we weren't sure if were correct, as our queries were always responded to quickly and positively. Finally once the works were completed, the defects checks and rectification was excellent. The renovation was completed to a very high standard by the contractors, but where we did notice a couple of issues (eg a scratch on the paint or a hole in one of the tiles), these were fixed very quickly and without extra cost to us. Ultimately, we have been very happy with our experience with Ascend, particularly everything that Alfred and Ren Hao did for us. The way that I see it is that neither of us have expertise in either design nor project management, so to delegate this out to Alfred and Ren Hao was extremely worthwhile and made the whole process stress-free and ensured our final renovation was as beautiful as could be according to what we wanted. Thank you both, and we are very happy in our new home. We couldn't recommend enough!

We were recommended to Ascend by our friend and of course, being 2nd time home owners, we did our fair share of homework and went to few other ID firms before deciding on Ascend and we were certainly pleased with our choice! Our ID, Agnes, has an exceptional sense of design and keen eye for detail, which makes him stand out from the other IDs. He helps us with the furniture/ laminate/ paint selection (which we trust him 101% with) and provides good colour perspective advices to us to match the overall look and feel of the house. We love the neutral hues and soft curves which all turned out to be what we had envisioned. At the same time, Agnes does not compromise on practicability and functionality of the carpentry layout/ accessibility and will advise on pros and cons of available options for informed decision making. Our project manager, Yanhao, is very on the ball and prompt in terms of communication and updates to us. We were lucky to have him on the team, managing the contractors, providing advices on issues on a timely and professional manner, monitoring the project timeline to ensure smooth project completion. The duo was responsive to us during the renovation, addressing our concerns and patiently answering our questions. Carpentry workmanship is also superb! Despite some hiccups along the way, the duo was nevertheless able to provide us with satisfactory resolution of those issues faced. A family member recommended Ascend Design and we were happy with the overall experience. Our home renovation was a major overhaul with a fairly tight timeline. We had no knowledge about interior design and needed somebody good at what they do to help us, NOT those “regular contractors claim ID” type. Out of all IDs we reached out, the proposed design from team Ascend led by Agnes stood out most. Agnes played an instrumental role to ensure we get what we envisioned our place to look and worked within our budget. He is professional, accommodating and has an eye for detail. His ideas are refreshing and we love it. Yan Hao is the right person when it comes to project management. He is always responsive, helpful, physically present to oversee all stages of the renovation and making sure all things completed on time. Areas that required rectification/rework were addressed promptly. From concept to execution, the entire process was close to seamless. Thank you team Ascend. We love our new home! ❤️

We had the best experience working with Ascend Design for the renovation of our 5-room HDB resale flat. Alfred and Renhao were our ID and project manager respectively. Alfred was the last out of the 6 IDs we had met, and my husband & I were both unanimously sure that we had wanted to go with him after the first discussion we had. Alfred was very patient in listening to what we had wanted and also proposed a lot of good ideas and designs. Budget was a concern for us, and he also tried his best to work within our affordability. Throughout the entire project, we were assured and confident in Alfred’s choices - from the laminates to the tiles and to the paint colors. He has such a good eye for making sure all of them blend in well together and we could not be any happier with the final outcome! We also want to thank Renhao for making sure this entire project was completed in time for our wedding. He had gave us an estimated timeline (2.5 months) since the beginning, and the whole process was pretty smooth and according to the plan. Everything was according to schedule and we could move in right after our wedding :) He was very communicative and answered our queries efficiently and professionally throughout this entire period. We are super happy with our new house and are very blessed to have been able to work together with Alfred and Renhao from Ascend Design! As someone with very little design or artistic knowledge, it was very nice and assuring to be able to leave the aesthetics and layout of the house into the hands of our ID & project manager. We want to wholeheartedly thank Alfred and Renhao for this great collaboration and would highly recommend them😄

We spoke to a few IDs that we shortlisted from Qanvast as we wanted to find an ID that met our budget needs but also one that we could vibe with and understood our vision. Serene gave us many design ideas and was accommodating to our suggestions but also gave us recommendations on what could and could not work. We really appreciated that because it showed her expertise and allowed us to manage our expectations. Throughout our renovation project, Serene kept us on task with all the timelines and was very responsive and easy to work with. She collaborated with multiple vendors including some of the ones we selected to ensure everything from our carpentry to furnishing was carried out smoothly. We trusted that whenever we spotted something that needed fixing, Serene would ensure her men would get it done. Being a mother herself, she understood our requirements and vision for the house and also understood whenever we were slightly late for a meeting or had to rush off early because our son had to nap. Our reno process was smooth thanks to Serene and we couldn’t have asked for a better ID. We really love how our home turned out and would definitely recommend Serene!
