My family had the absolute pleasure of working with J Design & Interior, and we cannot express how grateful we are for their incredible work. After the first consultation, we had a very good impression of them and fully trusted them with our entire renovation process. They took the time to understand our styles, needs, and preferences, eventually delivering results that were much better than our imagination. Every detail was carefully though out - from the choice of colours and textures to the perfect balance of functionality and aesthetics. The entire renovation process only took one and a half months, yet the quality was not compromised. Junjie (JJ) was my ID! He first listened to my needs and expectations of my dream house and customized to my needs. He gave me good suggestions due to the space and layout restrictions of my house. He and his team were also technically strong with excellent workmanship. I made last minute changes to my toilet design but they attended to my concerns. I enjoyed working with JJ for his ideas. His wife, Winnie complements JJ, she is extremely patient and provide prompt update to my queries. Excellent pair of partnership there! At times, I was worried on the timeline of delivery but I am happy that my dream house is delivered on time within my budget.

Was referred to Jun Jie (JJ) by a family member. From the start of enquiry to gathering/ clarifying quotation to minor touch up requests after completion, JJ and Winnie provided advice and were very responsive. I also received regular progress updates throughout the renovation, which I appreciated as I could not be around during the renovation period. Overall, I am very satsified with the entire process and outcome of the renovation. Would recommend J Design and Build for a fuss free service/ experience!

The term “renovation” often trigger negative vibe for my husband and I after our horrendous nightmare with an ID firm 13 years ago. Our kitchen has been in need of help as far as a few years back but we held back not wanting another round of nightmare amongst other logistics until it reached a dire situation that could wait no longer. A company that does locally made carpentry with responsibly sourced materials cutting out middle man was key for us. Under recommendation with the above in mind, I reached out to JJ and Winnie from J Design and Built. The quick prompt friendly response by Winnie was a pleasant delight and we established a meeting the very next day for a site inspection. From that meeting, I knew we did not need to look further. We started our renovation journey with them to reconstruct our kitchen from the ground. JJ, Winnie and their team are gems in our renovation industry that we am really thankful to have crossed paths with. Our journey with them has been one that is filled with professionalism, honesty, integrity and excellent flow of communication. Their assurance coupled with good knowledge/expertise in their trade allay my jitters and concerns. Renovations are stressful in nature when we dived deep into breaking down our homes. JJ and Winnie cushioned this process for us. I felt assured and safe through the entire time. Our timeline to completion was tight but the team ticked off their deliverables promptly and our kitchen along with other parts of the house that needed fixing was ready a few days before projected date of completion. I had the pleasure to meet their team, from their tilers, painters and carpentry individuals. I salute their roles and expertise in their trades, many honing decades of experience in their belts. Had a fun time with them! 😀 Special thanks to Uncle Stanley their Carpentry Chief. His workmanship, eye to detail and professional suggestions is something that I truly appreciate. Our carpentry was set for x date to move into the house for fixing. The evening before, Uncle Stanley arrived with his team and started the move. “It is likely to heavy rain tomorrow morning, I want to get all the big wood pieces in before the storm” I have seen other companies that have left raw wood out in the open in the rain so this was really professionalism in motion. As a client, I value this a lot. Thank you so much for taking so much pride in your work! 😁 JJ and Winnie, we are thankful. You going out and above your way to try and fix my floor trap issue post renovation touched me. To the many looking for a good, reliable and honest firm, I trust you will be in good hands. As my 4-room flat in Bishan was due for HIP, I wanted to renovate my kitchen as at the same time. I have spoken to a total of 4 contractors and J Interior was the preferred one. The reasons are as followed: 1. Professionalism. Winnie and JJ from J Interior, were very professional and timely in their responses as we mainly communicated via Whatsapp. They always manage to followed- up promptly in meeting all our timelines. They were also very proactive in providing us with solutions and information to all our quiries. Thus they have exceeded all our expectations. (Our first contractor did not show up on the day we supposed to sign the contract, another contractor provided their quotation 7 days late without informing.) 2. Pricing and Quality of work. J Interiors's quote was among the most reasoanable ones since they are direct carpenters. (I got 4 to compare with). As we proceeded with the renovation of the kitchen, I also then included the living room and balcony after seeing their standard of work. Finally we decided to also include all our bedrooms (i.e the entire flat). A total of 3 contracts were signed. JJ, also helped in providing me with tips based on his experience that complements the overall design. They also went the extra mile with the purchase of electrical components and some other items for me at a very reasonable price. I must say I am truly satisfied with the overall work and services rendered by J Interior. Thanking not only Winnie and JJ but the entire team of carpenters, electricians and other staffs for making my house beautiful again.

JJ n Winnie is very helpful with the our kitchen Reno Working with thm was great as they understood what we were looking for and give us much idea about what we need to get The reply from thm was fast and reliable. After the Reno is done there were minor issues but thy were fast enough to ask people to come down and solve the issue. Overall they are very nice helpful people and also respectful of our decision . I will recommend to my friend and family if thy want to Reno their home

To start the ball rolling, junjie is a patient and meticulous designer and is very professional in what he does. He has got a vast knowledge on all the renovation works. I am very glad we engaged the right ID for our new home. He was able to make sure the whole project was completed on time (infact, even before our timeline)with all the work done almost perfectly. Quotation was done in a detailed, broken down manner (actual fact we did not visualise that some stuff were missed out by us), and the best part was there was no hidden costs! He is responsible and keeps us updated on our flat progress. We didnt even need to go down to check out the progress! With junjie being so patient, he considered all our designs and concepts, and was able to improve on what we wanted. All designs were also done in 3D drawings so you know what you'll be getting and paying for. The whole renovation process was seamless and hassle free. Overall, junjie is well versed in what he does and passionate. the entire process was very pleasant, and we strongly recommend Junjie to everyone who hasn't chosen him yet!

It all begins with a dislodged marble flooring due to the unpredictable rainy weather last year, I chance upon J Design & Build whom assisted me to resolve my problem once and for all. Beside helping with the problem solving, he also gave design and materials ideas such as the 900 x 900 mm porcelain tiles to give a new face-lift to my 20+ year house. The outcome turns out to be way beyond my expectation! It was really nice and this large tile creates a very spacious visual for my executive apartment. The workmanship was also very refined, that i could hardly notice any grouting at all! Additionally, his professional service and passion over home interior, leave me in good hands to let him do up an addition set of carpentry work for my living room. If you ask me to describe J Design & Build, i would say, fast and efficiency, precise and accurate, refined and detailed workmanship and of course, responsive and responsible!
