Engaged Leon as our ID - he was sensitive to our needs and able to give many constructive feedbacks both creatively and practically. Renovation process was smooth and he was always very present whenever there's questions or problems. Lastly, the quote was very reasonable - in fact there are a few small items that we add-on that Leon managed to absorb the costs & there were no hidden costs at the end, which means we stay in our initial estimated budget!

Rain is efficient and receptive to our ideas and requests. When something needed fixing, she would immediately contact the contractors. There were some issues with the contractor's manpower and timeline was extended but in the end it worked out fine. Even when a sink water heater we wanted doesn't work, she compromised by helping us to purchase another one in order not to affect the new carpentary and provided a discount for us so it's a holistic service and good experience for us. Keep it up, Rain and thank you for making our kitchen and bathroom beautiful!

First-time home owner here with lots of due dilligence done. Of multiple quotations across different companies, Suki from Sense & Semblance provided one of the most reasonable quotations and was able to actively offer practical and aesthetic ideas to the reconfiguration of my 4-Room Resale - a truly remarkable (unironically) feat. The other ID's i've been to would force their design ideas that they have been comfortable with, and lots of easy tells on their lack of experience. Throughout the renovation, not once did I see this as a purchase of a project solution, but as a partnership. A huge lesson and appreciation that all new homeowners should takeaway is that renovation projects are bound to have minor issues, mistakes or simply poor initial selection that require flexibility and changes to rectify. In this regard, Suki from Sense & Semblance has never failed to deliver swiftly, facing problems up-front and offer better-than acceptable rectifications or replacements. Communications has been a key factor in my satisfaction of the service, but the workmanship provided from her contractors are also great. Electrician - Neatly done, properly labelled, logical configurations & reasonably priced. Carpentry - Plenty of choices, doesnt shy from curvatures, fast work and plenty of laminate options Tiling - Very Neat, no loose tiles, alignments are great and fantastic work all around Suki has also gone above-and-beyond by using her connections and flexibility to aid us in TaoBao furniture shopping, shipping and suggestions. All in all, we're extremely pleased with the renovation, communications and happy to recommend them to old or new homeowners alike. After several meetings with other designers, our first in-person meeting with Suki came as a refreshing surprise. Suki was easy to talk to, she seemed to have understood what we envisioned for our next home and she was able to answer all our questions in terms of design and functionality - an indication of some solid experience in home renovation. We had a connection right from the get-go and needless to say, Sense & Semblance seemed to have been the obvious choice. After the renovation, despite some reno challenges common to older flats, Suki was able to deliver not just the plan we had agreed on but also at the exact date that she committed. She was approachable, accessible and very patient throughout the whole process. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a home designer to head towards her office and have a chat. You will not be disappointed from beginning to the end. More power to Suki and her team!

We have a very seamless and positive experience with Sense & Semblance. From our first meeting with Dillon, he enhanced our design idea with his recommendation. Due to Covid, we rushed to find the timeline to move to our new house. Dillon could stick to our timeline and still not be comprised of the quality. We have since stayed at our newly renovated home for a year. And till today, Dillon still helps us whenever we need urgent help relating to our house facade. Overall, we highly recommend Sense & Semblance for those of you doing your renovation.

We have moved in for about 4 months and we are extremely satisfied and pleased with the outcome of our house and how smooth the whole renovation process was. We engaged Sense and Semblance after meeting many other IDs. The first conversation we had with Suki was very different from the other IDs we met. She asked us about our current lifestyle and how we foresee our lifestyle will be in the new place. She did not want to hear the ideas we had for the house. Instead, she came up with design ideas based on our conversation and we were so impressed! She was the first ID who gave us ideas based on our lifestyle instead of drawing a floor plan based on what we thought we wanted. Throughout the renovation journey, Suki managed our expectations very well and I think that is very important for first-time home owners as we have different opinions on what we wanted for the house. She was very accommodating yet communicative and honest about what we can or cannot do for the house. We really appreciated that. There were also no hiccups throughout the renovation journey. Process was smooth and Suki helped us to liaise with our external vendors (curtain, water dispenser etc) which was also the reason why we wanted to get an ID in the first place - to manage and oversee everything for us eliminating any possible issues that may occur in the process. A big thank you to Suki and her team for helping us to create such a warm and cosy home!

Sense and Semblance stood by its name when it came to combining sensibilities of creativity and practical functions of home design. They were extremely professional and customer friendly in their approach. We had a basic idea about our home aesthetics , layout and colour palette. Suki and team elevated this imagination to a whole new level. Surprising aspect was the element of elegance in every nuance , be it flooring, material colours or accessorising the home. The "Class" in look and feel was combined with smart functions too. They were very accomodating to revisit any ideas and make changes. We had a really pleasant experience working alongside with Suki and Leon. Before we decided to engage Sense & Semblance, we had met nearly 10 IDs in 6 weeks but Suki's warmth and creativity won our hearts. We were amazed by her practical ideas, dedication and genuine cordial personality. She was a good listener and very attentive to hear your home and family needs. She will then propose a design that is very aesthetically pleasant, genuine but at e same time super practical. She is also very responsive and willing to hear our feedbacks. We changed our toilet design 3 times but she was patient and quick to improvise and provide us w the amended 3D design. As we were in rush to complete the reno in less than 6 weeks, she carefully planned for us to finalise the design and choose the materials/supplies (vinyl flooring, toilet tiles, kitchen, wardrobe etc) within 2 months before the key handover of our new house. This made the reno works complete timely and smooth sailing. Another bonus is she is a TAOBAO connoisseur. She will recommend and help u buy your house fittings at 1/3 of the price in S'pore e.g. we bought e smart automated laundry rack for $300 as opposed to $1k in S'pore. That's a steal! We literally love everything about our dream house. But if I were to pick my favourite, its the open kitchen, the island and dining area. It adds coziness to our house space and became a pleasant hang out area when we host our friends and families. Thanks Suki and S&S team! You guys are truly amazing.
