We selected Posh Homes from a number of IDs due to the evident passion Edmond had for our project. He was meticulous in his design and execution, and the final outcome is almost exactly like the 3D model. The workmanship and quality of finish is excellent, and he was very fair commercially. We would highly recommend Posh Homes and Edmond to deliver a professional, high standard and passionate project.

My wife and I love our newly renovated home thanks to our ID Brandon. We did a whole house renovation with some hacking. He initially came up with several different layout options with different budget options for us to pick from. We went with what met our needs and lifestyle best. From choosing the tiles to fixtures, it was all very flexible and he was always there to address our concerns and give his ideas and inputs. He got us good deals all around and was very transparent about the cost of everything. When the unexpected happens (which always does in a renovation), he is also there to recommend solutions and provide alternative ideas. Most importantly for us, he was able to meet our deadline of 2 and a half months because we wanted the house done before our wedding. The timing couldn’t be more perfect.

We shortlisted 3 ID company for review and decided to go with Kyran and Cayden from Posh Home. They won us over with their on point capture of our lifestyle needs and preference on simplicity. The proposed design plan had considered the finer points of our discussion and our vision which were not so evident with the other 2 IDs. The suggestion of additional storage areas created from an otherwise unusable space came in super handy and we absolutely loved it. While proposing for ideas and solutions, the team displayed a good balance between practicality, aesthetics and cost. Issues arising during and after renovation were quickly addressed and resolved. Despite some last minute changes, we are able to move in per schedule and within budget. We are grateful to have them both helped us with the renovation journey to achieve our vision. We're thrilled to have YS as our new house ID. He was responsive and proactive, taking the initiative to find out exactly what we desired and recommending a design that properly fit our budget. Their craftsmanship is excellent, and their prices are reasonable. Everything was within our financial constraints. YS was really patient despite our tight timetable to complete the renovation procedure on time. My home is a 23 years old HDB Mansionette Penthouse and practically 90% (retained a couple external windows & living/dining/study flooring) of it needed to be renovated. I had interviewed 4 ID firms and I had chosen & signed contract with Cayden of Posh Home on 10 October 2022 because of their promises, vast experience in past landed projects even though their price is at least 15% higher than all 3 others. My home theme is Modern Luxury and renovation work started on 15 November 2022 and it was initially started by Cayden & assisted by Kryan. Cayden had contributed to this project with some innovative renovation 3D ideas that I had retained in my renovation in particularly the shoe cabinet, staircase partial feature wall and external design of master bedroom wardrobe but unexpected hiccups and many big & small issues pop up along the way until a stage where I am feeling more & more uncomfortable that some of my other requirements & expectation can not be met & a couple of the 3D designs that were proposed becoming not realistic and Cayden is too busy with industrial projects to find time to discuss with me in person further to find solutions. He did not know how to draw up an electrical floor plan for my home and tried to get his assistant, kryan to take charge of everything and say only when something major happens, then he will come out to solve the issue. Fortunately, I spoke to Posh Home Admin and their management is glad to assign me another senior ID to hear my needs and concerns. Edmond Tang was very willing to listen, was patient and showed confidence that he is able to take over this project singly at about 1 & 1/2 month half way into the renovation. When Edmond drew up a proper electrical floor plan and presented to me, I am immediately impressed & knew this is the ID I am looking to work with to complete my home renovation. Many ID firms would only assign HDB mansionette renovations to very senior IDs as they tend to be very major renovation due to it being at least 24 years old or longer. Edmond can find solutions and solve most of customer's concerns & needs. Whatever promises given upfront when I signed the contract with Cayden, he ensured that this is properly looked into and resolved according to their promises to me. What made me most impressed & happy is that Edmond is always there whenever there is a need to brief his contractors on-site and he will come down on his own without me asking. He worked closely with me and is very careful in ensuring things goes smooth by making me sign every proposal and also ensures that he has consulted me over WhatsApp to ensure I am agreeable before proceeding with even the smallest matter. Particularly, the sliding TV cabinet at master bedroom that was originally proposed by Cayden, after numerous discussion with Edmond, we agreed not to take risk should the carpentry work turn out differently from expected, so we have changed it to a regular fixed TV cabinet instead. Additionally, I also had an issue with my aircon contractor as I had engaged them to do redo my aircon pipping work for entire house. They had originally refused to rectify an aircon pipe at bedroom 2 which is too long (protruding out) and it blocked my Fan Coil Unit's cover from opening, giving an excuse that their method of pipping is following the correct protocol. Edmond helped me to source for an alternate aircon contractor who was able to rectify the pipping issue & I was able to claim the rectification cost back from my original aircon contractor. Around 80% of my home renovation ($125,500) are by Posh Interior and overall I spent about $151,799 (Excluding lightings, soft furnishing, furniture & TVs) on renovation. This had went 8.5% above my original maximum budget of $140k. There were a couple of areas where improvements can be done if told upfront or properly analyzed by Cayden (previous ID before Edmond took over). They are some big issues and disappointing as remedy action can not be done. I would have given 1 star rating testimonial if Cayden did not agree to handover this project to Edmond. These include: (1) 1 of my main requirement is all electrical wires must be concealed but Cayden did not tell me upfront before signing contract that their company is not willing to do it (he told it is not allowed by HDB to conceal wiring). However, other ID firms are willing to do for me. (2) Grout cement color black was used for tiling work on level 2 floorings (all 3 bedrooms & walkway), Cayden did not consult with me on the color preference upfront, and it is super disappointing as black looked so ugly. If given an option, I would choose white. For my grout cement on staircases since tiling work was not done yet, it was still in time to prevent a repeat incident from happening, I requested white grout which looked so much better than the black grout used for other tile areas on level 2. (3) Level 1 toilet bowl area could have been made wider and have a smaller sitting space for showering. This is partially Cayden's mistake as he did not come down to inspect himself or to discuss this with me before work began. He pushed many things to his assistant, Kryan to decide / make recommendations. (4) It originally supposed to cost only $5200 to plaster all walls of my entire house, however Cayden used another contractor to do an extra plastering work solely for kitchen & service balcony which cost me an extra $1600 and work was completed without consulting me if I want this additional plastering work. When Cayden sent me the Variation Order, it is already too late as his contractor has already finished the plaster work. This additional plastering work is redundant & is of inferior quality as after moving in for 3 months, I already saw hairline cracks. (5) Both Toilets at Level 2 could have repositioned the windows area before wall tiling work started so that it will not block the mirror cabinet areas. Cayden didn't come down to do any inspection, this really would have depend on an ID's experience to prevent a repeat mistake but Cayden rely too much on Kryan. For my renovation under the taking over ID, Edmond, there are only 2 areas where improvement can be made if more careful but they are just minor matters. (1) Kitchen entrance door could have been better designed to cover loopholes at the sides so as to prevent insects & lizards from crawling into the living room (2) top part of the shelving at balcony (next to living room) could have be better designed internally to allow more storage within it instead of just looking good externally. Regardless, Edmond managed to correct plenty both big and small mistakes originally started by Cayden & cover up areas which still can be salvaged. It is very remarkable already. If not for Edmond, my renovation would have get stuck & delayed for many more months. In the end, my major renovation managed to complete within 4.5 months (moved in immediately on 1 April 2023 after renovation completed) which I am very satisfied with the overall renovation outcome. Overall as a whole, Posh Home pricing may be higher than others but you can trust that the quality used is superior and in the end, they are able to complete the project quickly. Other competitors, may be cheaper but the outcome may not be what you want or the renovation may get delayed for months. I want to say a big thank you to Edmond & Posh Home team for your partnership and fulfilling my dream home. As such, I still am very happy to give your company a 5 stars rating.

We submitted our request through Qanvast and requested quotations from 3 IDs before making the decision to work with Posh Home. From our first meeting with Charles, he listens patiently to our requirements, and we felt his sincerely when responding to our questions. Hence, we decided to engage his service after our second meeting. While both of us are aware that there will be no perfect renovation and as this was not our first home renovation, we were prepared for additional fixtures and material costs but at the same time we do not want to repeat the mistakes we made during our first home. Charles is definitely not an ID that will say “YES” to all our requests, however, he will always share with us his design ideas patiently and the reasons why he do not recommends some of our ideas due to practicality and cost. In addition, Charles is the only ID who demonstrated confidence in taking up our project based on our required timeline and indeed he did not fail our expectations. He is always prompt in his responses and will provide us with detailed updates at key milestones. We literality left the whole renovation under his care and Charles managed to deliver our dream home beyond our expectations and agreed timeline. It’s been a month since we shifted in, and we have received a lot of positive feedbacks on our renovation especially on the overall design and stellar workmanship. After sales service has also been great as Charles is still helping us to arrange on some small rectification and touch up works needed. Will like to thank Charles for all his support and hard work and we were glad that we got Charles as our ID. We will not hesitate to recommend him and Posh Home to our family and friends!!!

One of the standout features of the renovation was the beautiful minimalist design that Miki had designed for us. We engaged Miki as our designer as she went all out to design e best version of our home. She design it in a away alot of other designers couldnt when we went to ask around. Working with miki was also fun and also she was there with us in most of our selection and buying to make us have e best and also according to the theme she really spend her time to choose things with us. We enjoyed working with her and also we love our hs so much thanks to her ideas.

I would like to thank and recommend my ID, Yin Sheng for the service and help he rendered during the renovation. I was referred to Posh Home and a few ID firms by Qanvast. In the end, I finally decided to engage Posh Home and Yin Sheng for the renovation of my 4 room HDB mainly due to the design and mood board that was presented to me although it’s abit above my budget. When I interact with Yin Sheng, I only conveyed what is the theme I would like and fixtures that I would hope to have without any mood boards. During the conversation, Yin Sheng commented that some of my wishlist is not recommended due to space constraint. He will give ideas on how space can be utilized and how furniture and fittings can be displayed. He also helped in the choosing of my fittings and kitchen wares when I’m lost in the multiple choices that was presented to me. He is patient in answering all my queries and prompt in making changes to the design plan and solving it when issues pop up. During the renovation period, Yin Sheng helped to coordinate with the works done onsite and update me regularly with photos through WhatsApp, this allow me to know the progress when I do not go down to the site.

Engaged Robin from Posh Home for our interior design very early on. He is the kind of ID that speaks calmly, knows his stuff very well, and is very willing to contribute ideas without forcing it on you. We chose him because we had a gut feel (from his first presentation to us) that he would offer great design + project management, given his 15years of experience. Our design and renovation process was smooth on the overall. From design to tile choosing, light / fittings choosing, he was there with us every step of the way. We really appreciated his technical knowledge throughout the process, which we thought was hard to come by amongst most of the IDs (especially if one is new) these days. His largest value add as an ID to us, was his design and engineering acumen. During the carpentry installation, there were some hiccups despite our precise measurements for each and every carpentry we asked for. Some of the carpentry ended up being shorter / longer than what we expected, power sockets were missing, etc. We felt that these could have been avoided if someone was there to manage the site situation more closely. On hindsight, we should have been more proactive in checking on the progress of the carpentry installation instead of relying on our ID to do it. Nonetheless, our ID was prompt to take ownership of the project upon being alerted of the issues, and worked with us closely to resolve them. He also managed to deliver our project within the tight timeline that we had asked for, which we are thankful for. I would recommend him as an ID if you’re looking for someone with immaculate design/creativity, is responsive and quick to take ownership to resolve issues. We had a good experience and are happy to have a home that we absolutely love right now!

We went to Posh Home at the most challenging of times. Against the backdrop of rising cost, COVID restrictions, manpower restriction and a finite budget, we approached Posh Home Interior Design. We were glad to have Charles, the Senior Designer/Team Manager from Posh Home taking on our project. Faced with the budget restriction and the daunting task of not only redesigning the whole terrace house but also taking on the retrofitting of old structures, re-configuration of layouts, wiring, railing and pipings of a 30 years old house, Charles took on the project with much gusto. Charles is patient, he listened to all our needs before deliberating on the first proposal draft. He is able to balance great design with the functionality; coupled with amazing technical knowledge and budget management. He is one that does not take shortcuts or compromise on quality. While being mindful of our cost, he will recommend materials that meet our needs and requirements without compromising on the aesthetic quality. He has a good grasp of the design style we want and came out with a lot of great design suggestions. Charles surprised us with a well-proposed design that balances ecstatics with functionality. It was a breeze for us to approve the design on the first draft. He thoughtfully created a seamless design style through the whole house, from the carpentry design, floor tiles, fixtures, railings to colour combinations. Every part of the house has its distinct characters, yet when viewed as a whole compliment seamlessly and works beautifully to bring out the design theme. Charles was able to commit and stick to the renovation timeline. He took us through the whole process step by step throughout the renovation journey. Being a helpful individual, he always tries to address our needs. He even goes out of his way to ensure the integrity of the designs are not compromised when we make changes. We are very impressed by his technical knowledge, from water-proofing of roof to balcony, piping and electrical to ergonomic considerations. We are sure it will save us a lot of troubles and cost further down the road. We are very happy with the final result of the renovation. Charles took time to address issues and fix them promptly even after we have moved in. Posh Home delivered so much, at such good value, quality and expertise. The end product; on time, on budget and a beautiful home!
