I had a very disappointing experience with this renovation contractor. Throughout the project, he repeatedly failed to keep his promises and continuously gave false deadlines, causing significant delays to my renovation. At one point, my house was left completely empty for three weeks with no workers on site and no progress made. Despite collecting almost 90% of the payment, the renovation was not even 50% completed. He also promised to bear half of my STORHUB storage fees due to the delay but eventually refused to honour his commitment. When I requested a refund, he refused, claiming that he had already paid deposits to his workers and that they were busy with other projects. After collecting our 90% payment, we can see a delay in his response and replies to us. He started to give late replies or ignore us. The lack of accountability, poor project management, and broken promises caused my family a great deal of stress and inconvenience. I hope future homeowners exercise caution and ensure they have proper payment schedules and written commitments before engaging other contractors. Most importantly, do not engage this contractor.

It was a pleasant 1st discussion meeting on 13/12/2025. We have been following up with Alexa regarding the revised quotation for many times, but she always has reason for the delaying until the end she no more reply. 1st follow up on 8/1/2026, 8.06am- She replied on 9/1/2026, 12.01pm saying that she was oversea & will update me on Monday. 2nd follow up on 13/1/2026, 9.45am- No respond from her 3rd follow up on 15/1/2026, 9.39am- She replied on 17/1/2026, 1.28pm saying that she was in hospitalized from food poisoning & will revert us ASAP. 4th follow up on 30/1/2026, 8.46am- She replied on 31/1/2026, 3.02pm saying that she caught the viral flu after her hospitalized. She said she was rushing all her backlog & will revert to us ASAP. 5th follow up on 23/2/2026, 9.27am- No respond from anymore

We’ve had a great experience with ✨ Natalie ✨ . Her professionalism, ownership and calmness throughout the process was exceptional. She takes tremendous care in building our home, almost as though it were her own, and never takes shortcuts. She often catches details that we completely miss during our site visits - e.g. she noticed that our door 🚪 knobs were installed too high and took the initiative to send them back for correction. We didn’t even notice it! This type of ID where to find 🤣 When one of our chosen dark wood laminates went out of stock, instead of taking the easy route and simply suggesting an alternative, she guided us through the matching process again, considering our other laminate, wall and floor colours. 🌈 There’s also a lot of behind-the-scenes work — measurements, material selection, proposals and coordinating with different vendors — and she took the bulk of that off our shoulders. Her design taste is excellent as well, and we’ve never had an instance where we second-guessed her recommendations. 💪 We’re approaching the end of this “not so straightforward” reno and are happy with seeing our dream home come to life. ❤️ Seriously dont look any further if you want a great experience for your reno!

Before finding SHE Interior, we visited two other interior design firms, and honestly, we came away feeling like our renovation wasn't being taken very seriously. There wasn't much real planning for our home — the proposed layouts were mostly sketched freehand on the floor plan rather than worked out properly with design software or accurate measurements. For us, this renovation was a big deal. We've lived in this home for 13 years, so we know the space, our habits, and the things that never quite worked for us. It was never just about making the place look nicer, we wanted to maximise the living room and kitchen, make the space feel more open and brighter, and finally have a better way to organise our things so the home would be easier and more comfortable to live in. I actually came across SHE Interior while searching online for ideas on making a 4-room flat feel more spacious. One of their portfolio photos caught my eye, and the company connected me with Jess, the designer behind that project. From our very first meeting, I could tell Jess approached things differently. Before we'd even met, she'd already worked on a floor plan and came prepared with ideas on how to maximise our living room and kitchen while making the home feel brighter and more open. In our first meeting, we realised Victorian style was really what we loved — wall lights, chandeliers, handles, all the decorative details. I did wonder whether we could actually pull it off, especially since rose gold finishes and the specific styles we wanted aren't easy to find. Jess was patient through all of it, and genuinely seemed committed to making the home both beautiful and functional. What I appreciated most was how open she was to our input. For instance, instead of just sticking with the tile shop she'd originally suggested, we brought her to one that specialised in large format tiles because that's what we were after — and she spent over two hours there with us picking out floor and wall tiles. At one point we were already tired and just waiting to the side, while Jess was still carefully going through the options. She also put in a lot of effort helping us track down the wall lights, chandeliers, and other details we needed for the Victorian look. Most importantly, I never felt that Jess was trying to sell us something just because there was a budget available. We actually prefer loose furniture because it suits the style and look we wanted. Even though SHE Interior has an in-house carpentry team, Jess never pushed us towards more built-in carpentry just to increase the scope of the renovation. She would advise us based on what she felt we genuinely needed and what would work best for the home. Jess is also incredibly responsive, attentive, and patient. She took the time to walk us through every decision, storage heater vs instant heater, swing door vs sliding door, gas stove vs induction, slim hood vs chimney hood, explaining the trade offs. We moved in just a few days ago, and the flat feels completely different, functional, and just really pleasant to be in. I'm a fairly particular person, so Jess is still busy coordinating contractors to sort out the last few small imperfections, but that follow through says a lot about how much she cares about meeting our expectations.

We’re really happy with Jeraldine and the whole experience working with her! As first-time homeowners, we had a lot of questions throughout the renovation process, and Jeraldine was always very patient, responsive and willing to explain things to us properly. From the initial ideation and drafting stages right through to the actual renovation, she kept us updated and made sure everything was going smoothly. It gave us a lot of peace of mind, especially since we were quite new to the whole renovation process. What we really appreciated was that she also went beyond just the renovation itself. She helped us coordinate and facilitate the installation of customised furniture and other appliances, which made things much easier for us. Overall, we’re really pleased with how everything turned out and very thankful for all the help and effort Jeraldine put in throughout the process. Would definitely recommend her, especially to first-time homeowners looking for someone who is responsive, helpful and easy to work with!

We honestly couldn’t be happier with our renovation journey and the experience we had working with our ID, Erwin. From our very first discussion, he was patient, approachable and took the time to really understand what we wanted for our home. We had quite a number of ideas and preferences, and he was always willing to listen, give his professional input and help us find the right balance between design, practicality and what would work best for our space. Throughout the renovation, communication with Erwin was always easy. He was responsive whenever we had questions, concerns or last-minute changes, and we really appreciated that he never made us feel like we were being troublesome even when we changed our minds on certain things. He would explain the options available, offer solutions and do his best to accommodate our requests. Of course, like any renovation, there were a few hiccups and adjustments along the way, but what mattered to us was how they were handled. Erwin was always willing to take responsibility, coordinate with the relevant parties and get things sorted out. Having someone dependable overseeing the project gave us a lot of reassurance and made what could have been a very stressful process much easier to manage. The best part was finally seeing everything come together. It was really satisfying watching the ideas we discussed at the beginning slowly turn into our actual home. We’re genuinely very happy with the final outcome and love how the different details came together. A big thank you to Erwin for his patience, dedication and effort throughout the entire journey. We truly appreciate all the behind-the-scenes coordination and work that went into making our home what it is today. It has been a pleasure working with him, and we would definitely recommend Erwin to our friends, family or anyone looking for an ID who is approachable, responsive and genuinely committed to his clients. Even though Doreen is a personal friend of mine, her professionalism throughout the entire project was top-notch from day one. I was only looking to upgrade my existing kitchen vinyl flooring, but she treated the job with absolute dedication and care. Her proactive follow-up kept everything on track, and her attention to detail was remarkably meticulous. She gave fantastic, practical recommendations tailored to my space and went the extra effort at every stage to ensure the process was completely smooth through to completion. Whether you have a full renovation or a smaller upgrade like mine, I highly recommend Doreen for her expertise, reliability, and outstanding work ethic.

We renovated our very first home with Forefront and want to give a special mention to our ID (Sanyi) and project manager (Derrick). We love how our house turned out! Derrick and Sanyi were very proactive and gave us weekly updates on the house works and any issues we encountered were quickly resolved.

Good experience. Zynn is a very responsible interior designer who takes her work seriously. Very pleased with the design of the house. Renovation fees are v reasonable too compared to other companies! Initially I was just scouting around for an id company and didnt even have a house yet. But Zynn treated me like any other customer and designed my house in accordance to the theme I wanted when other IDS wouldn't have bothered about me. That's what I like about the company.

We first worked with Xyden and Chai Hwa back in 2021 when they were still with another company, and had such a great experience that when it came time to renovate our new home, we knew we wanted to work with them again. What we’ve always appreciated about them is how flexible, hardworking and responsive they are. They have great design ideas, but are also very willing to listen, adapt to changes and help sort things out whenever rectification is needed. The quality of their work has always been good, and they react quickly whenever something comes up — which makes a huge difference during a renovation! We’re really happy to see Xyden and Chai Hwa now starting and building their own firm. Having trusted them with two of our homes, we’d happily recommend them and would definitely work with them again in the future.

Had a pleasant experience working with Eugene Goh from Decor 8 for our renovation. Eugene was friendly, approachable and responsive throughout the process, and was always willing to listen to our requests and work things out with us. Our renovation journey took a little longer than expected, and we eventually moved in while some of the finishing works were still being completed. This meant having to accommodate the workers coming back for the remaining works and doing some cleaning along the way, so it definitely required some patience on our part. That said, I appreciate that Eugene continued to follow up on the outstanding items and see them through until everything was eventually settled. Overall, we're happy with the final outcome and grateful for his help throughout the renovation journey. 5 stars for Eugene!
