Had a really good experience Jerome and his team overall for our first home! The end-to-end execution, checking in on the status of our house at different phases and timely updates were appreciated. Jerome was also accommodative to our requests and communication was easy, always responsive whenever I had questions or small changes along the way. I also appreciated how responsible and hands-on they were throughout the whole process, making sure things were done properly and on time. The end result turned out great and we're really happy with our new home. Would definitely recommend Jerome if you’re looking for someone reliable and easy to work with 👍👍

As a first-time homeowner, I had many questions throughout the renovation process, and Irvin was consistently patient in explaining everything clearly and thoroughly. Working with her was easy and pleasant, as she has an amiable and humorous character. Her calm and composed attitude helped ensure that the already stressful renovation process never felt overwhelming, even though it was difficult for me to make certain decisions such as the selection of tiles. She first struck me as a very meticulous ID when I noticed how well she organised all her project files and photos on her company’s shared server. This gave me great confidence and peace of mind, knowing that she was on top of every detail across all her projects, including mine. Her attention to detail was also reflected in her approach to planning. She took the time to carefully plan and align on every aspect of the renovation before proceeding with the actual works, rather than rushing into execution. This greatly reduced last-minute or hasty decision-making. She was also very responsive to messages, making communication smooth and reassuring throughout the process. What I appreciated most was that she genuinely values the homeowner’s perspective. Whenever there were differing views, she would thoughtfully consider how best to resolve them or find a middle ground, instead of taking the easy route of either agreeing to impractical ideas or dismissing good ones outright. Overall, her dedication and time put into the project in our various meetups/shopping trips way exceeded my expectation and went a long way in the successful delivery of a home that is not only focused on aesthetics but more importantly, highly practical and safe. Irvin was transparent about costs and demonstrated strong project management skills. As a perfectionist, she proactively had contractors rectify issues, such as instructing her tilers to redo slightly misaligned tiles before I had a chance to see them, even when it would have been easier to leave them as they were. She once shared her mantra: “If the work doesn’t pass my inspection, how can it pass the homeowner’s?” This principle stayed with me throughout the journey and fostered trust and there was no real need for me to go down on site to monitor the works much. Her after-sales service following handover has been equally impressive, with prompt coordination of contractors whenever minor touch ups were required. Overall, the renovation was delivered on time and within budget. While her quotation was generally higher than those from other interior designers I approached, the quality of work and the overall positive experience more than made up for it. She would also gently rein me in on budget considerations whenever my ideas became too ambitious, which further demonstrated that her priority was always the client’s interests rather than maximising profit. 6 months on staying in my new house, I’m pleased to say that very little rectification has been needed, and I cant think of any major “renovation regrets", a testament to her planning and detail. I’m very glad to have worked with Irvin and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and detail-driven interior designer.

Working with our interior designer was overall a positive and reassuring experience, with several strong points that stood out. One of their biggest strengths was their sense of responsibility and responsiveness. Throughout the project, they were consistently quick to reply, open to feedback, and proactive in addressing any questions or concerns. This made the entire renovation journey feel smoother and gave us confidence that things were being handled with care. As with most renovations, there were a few hiccups along the way. However, the designer was willing to step in and resolve issues when they arose, which we appreciated. While there were moments that suggested a slight lack of experience—particularly when dealing with finer details—these were generally manageable and improved as the project progressed. In terms of workmanship and execution, we felt that a bit more attention to detail would have elevated the final outcome further. That said, the overall result was still satisfactory, and we could see the effort put into delivering a good finish. Overall, we had a good experience working together. Their strong communication, accountability, and willingness to improve made a meaningful difference, and with more experience and refinement in details, they have great potential to deliver even better results in the future.

My partner and I spoke with close to 12 interior designers before eventually deciding to work with Heidi, and looking back, we’re glad we did. From our very first meeting, Heidi stood out with her ability to balance creativity and practicality. We came in with a fairly clear vision of what we wanted for our 4-room resale HDB, but she took them further, offered thoughtful suggestions, and introduced design concepts that ultimately made the space functional and beautiful. Just as importantly, we felt we vibed quite well - EXTREMELY important. The project started strongly, with Heidi providing a clear plan. Throughout the process, she kept us informed with regular updates at key milestone. As the renovation progressed, it was obvious that Heidi was becoming increasingly sought after and juggling multiple projects. Of course, like every renovation project ever, there were a few slip-ups along the way. What mattered to us was how she handled them. Heidi was quick to respond, took ownership when needed, and ensured things got back on track What deserves special mention is her after-sales service. Even months after we’ve moved in, Heidi has continued to help us resolve issues and coordinate rectifications when needed. While some IDs disappear once the final payment is made, Heidi remained responsive and supportive long after handover, which we really appreciate. Today, as we sit in our completed home, we’re genuinely pleased with how everything has come together. The space feels warm, functional, and very much “us.” Happy to recommend Heidi to anyone looking for an ID who is creative, approachable, and genuinely invested in delivering a good result. She’s already doing great work at a young age, and we’re confident she’ll only continue to grow from here

In the last leg of our renovation journey with Carpenter, recalling the start of the engagement from design to materials selection it has been an enjoyable experience. I was referred to this interior design team by a friend who had a good renovation experience with them, so I decided to reach out when I started planning for my BTO. From the first discussion, they were patient in understanding what I wanted and helped me balance the design ideas with practical storage, budget, and daily use. The overall process was quite smooth. They gave useful suggestions on layout, materials, carpentry details, and colour matching, especially for the living room and kitchen area. I appreciated that they were willing to explain the options clearly instead of rushing me to decide. When there were small changes along the way, they followed up and kept me updated on the progress. The completed renovation turned out close to what I had in mind: clean, modern, and practical for everyday living. The workmanship for the carpentry and finishing was neat, and the space feels much more comfortable after handover. Overall, I am happy with the renovation journey and would recommend them to homeowners who want a reliable team for their BTO renovation.

The interior designer Ben did a great job from start to finish. They were very attentive, followed up well, and truly understood our preferences. The solutions they provided were excellent. We are extremely happy with the outcome and highly recommend their service.

It was a refreshing experience working with Lynnie (Designer) and Angela (Project Manager) from Brickwood Studio on our new home, compared to other IDs we had engaged for our past projects who were more authoritative and sometimes dismissive. Both Lynnie and Angela maintained a listening ear throughout the entire reno journey, which meant we could comfortably share our ideas and concerns with them without getting dismissed. We had a tight timeline and a hard deadline to meet, so we are extremely grateful to the both of them for keeping their promise and finishing the project in time for us to move in (albeit with minor defect rectifications after moving in). Overall, we really liked how our house turned out, all thanks to Lynnie and Angela for being able to correctly pinpoint our preferences, come up with the concepts, and ultimately executing them to perfection. I would recommend Lynnie and Angela to others who are similarly looking for a dependable and professional designer to help oversee their home renovation!

I would like to give a huge shout-out to my two designers, J and Candy for their exceptional work! The past two months of renovation have been a seamless and stress-free experience. From the initial blueprints to technical electrical layouts, their advice perfectly balanced minimalist aesthetics with daily functionality. They generously shared their industry resources and personally accompanied me to shop for tiles, fans, and lighting. This level of involvement was crucial in maintaining a cohesive style throughout the home. Biggest challenge for me is communicating with contractors, but Candy took full charge of site management. She hands-on in supervising every detail and proactively solving any issues that arose during construction. The service didn’t end at the construction phase. Studio remained fully committed to the final touch-ups and handover process, ensuring everything was perfect.Their friendly demeanour and "client-first" attitude made the entire process enjoyable. Thank you both for turning my dream of a minimalist home into a reality.

After meeting with multiple interior design firms for our first home, we eventually decided to go with Sze Qi from Brickwoods — and looking back, it was one of the best decisions we made. From the very beginning, we were deeply impressed by Sze Qi’s portfolio and her willingness to openly share ideas from her previous projects that could potentially be incorporated into our home design. Her passion and creativity immediately stood out to us. What truly impressed us was how proactive she was even before our first meeting. She took the initiative to ask for our rough ideas and inspirations beforehand, which allowed her to prepare thoughtful concepts and designs in advance. This saved us a lot of time and avoided additional trips to revisit or rework ideas. As young parents, functionality was extremely important to us, and Sze Qi was very mindful of our needs throughout the entire process. She thoughtfully incorporated practical ideas such as additional storage solutions for our child while still maintaining a warm and aesthetic design. Having lived in our home for a couple of months now, we remain incredibly grateful for her ideas — especially the toy display area below the TV console, which our son absolutely loves. It has become both a beautiful feature and a convenient play area for him. Her experience and attention to detail were also evident in the technical aspects of the design. Small but thoughtful recommendations, such as using rounder countertop corners to make the home more baby-friendly, really showed how much care and consideration she put into designing a safe and comfortable home for our family. One thing we appreciated greatly was her confidence and guidance in design decisions. Unlike some experiences our friends had with other designers where everything was left entirely to the homeowners, Sze Qi was willing to provide honest recommendations on colour schemes and design combinations that would best suit the overall concept of the house. We trusted her judgment completely, and to this day, we are still so thankful every time we return to our warm and cozy home. During the renovation process, we were also given access to a timeline app that clearly showed the progress and upcoming works. This gave us great peace of mind as we could easily follow along and better understand the entire renovation process. Most importantly, all works were completed smoothly, on schedule, and according to plan. What truly sets Sze Qi and the Brickwoods team apart is that their service did not end after the handover. Their after-sales service has been absolutely top class. Sze Qi continued to follow up closely on minor touch-ups and ensured everything was properly settled even after completion. Overall, we are incredibly thankful and genuinely feel blessed to have met Sze Qi and her team in creating our ideal first home. It was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. Lastly, as young parents, we also want to sincerely thank Sze Qi’s colleagues, who were always so warm and patient in engaging with our son while we focused on discussing the renovation details. It was a serendipitous coincidence that the husband and I both bookmarked Brickwood Studio as we did our individual research for IDs to do up our new flat. Having met a couple of IDs from other companies and not given the impression that they were committed to helping us (going AWOL on us/giving us pictures collated from Pinterest after a few weeks), we decided to adopt a more casual, ‘look-see’ attitude with Lynnie from Brickwood. On hindsight, I am so glad that we met with her. Lynnie is a dream ID; from conceptualising of design to the coordination of the different craftsmen involved in the renovation, she makes everything work. As far as I can remember, she has never said ‘no’ to any of our requests. And even if it’s something that is challenging, she will find a way to make it work. Post-reno and handover of keys, she still helps us with minor issues. It was really our good fortune to have engaged Brickwood and met with Lynnie. :)

They totally understood what we wanted—the design is clean, practical, yet has those special touches that make the house look amazing. Candy really puts customers first; she gave us practical advice, helped us integrate the furniture we bought ourselves, and even recommended reliable Lobangs (resources) for our styling. During renovation, Candy was super on-the-ball, monitoring the site closely to ensure top-notch quality. Any feedback we gave was resolved very quickly. What impressed us most was the timeline. They actually finished ahead of schedule, which totally exceeded our expectations! Right from the start, they shared a detailed schedule with us, which made coordinating our appliance and furniture deliveries so efficient. Because they were ahead of schedule by 1-2 days at various stages, it gave us plenty of breathing room to shopping for our home. Plus, their progressive payment scheme is very transparent and reliable, making it easy for our budgeting. Thanks to the awesome team at Brickwood Studio, we now have our dream cozy home.
