If you're looking for an interior designer who keeps you on your toes, this is the one. Why have a project manager when you can become one yourself? Appointments were cancelled at the very last minute, leaving me to deal with things on my own. On one occasion, I received the floor plan just five minutes before the scheduled discussion, giving me virtually no time to review or prepare. Updates on the project were rarely communicated proactively, and when they were, they often came at the last minute, leaving me constantly scrambling. The project was initially promised to be completed in two months, but dragged on for almost four. Throughout the process, it genuinely felt like my renovation had been deprioritised. Communication was poor, timelines were unrealistic, and there was little accountability when commitments weren't met. There were also far too many empty promises. "I'll get back to you today" often turned into a week later—if there was a follow-up at all. Most of the time, I had to chase for updates instead of receiving them proactively. To give credit where it's due, the contractors, electrician, painter, and the rest of the on-site team were all friendly, polite, and professional. They were a pleasure to deal with whenever I met them. Ironically, I hardly ever saw the interior designer on site throughout the project. I can honestly say I've never felt this frustrated over a service experience. What should have been an exciting milestone became an unnecessarily stressful experience because of the repeated last-minute changes, broken promises, lack of communication, and constant uncertainty. No customer should have to chase for updates or feel like they're managing their own renovation. Overall, the experience felt less like hiring an interior designer and more like being hired as the project manager for my own renovation.

If you are planning to renovate with this company.. look through the entire contract first and think for awhile.... this contract is meant to protect themselves and you have no way out unless you can pay the extra a hefty % of $$$ to cut the contract. Communication and updates are almost non existent... you will have to ask and ask for all kind of progress and dimensions to the point that I have to personally go down so many times to update myself and test the ID.. I doubt the ID went down at all to check for all kinds of work that has been done. because currently in the defect check phase, we are experiencing toilet flooding, terrible tiling workmanship.. friends came and ask whether did we renovate our toilet... Next shit is Carpentry... give them a hood dimension way back before carpentry work starts, no questions was raised and during the fabricating & installation phase, the carpenter confirmed that the hood for sure can install but end up cannot due to whose oversight? I don't want to point fingers. what's worst is I got a wardrobe pole system from China and due to the ceiling slightly slanted.. they did not want to trim ONE OF the pole by like 1cm(BTW i paid $250 to them for installation)... they said $250 is purely for installation, incase during installation they screw up then can compensate... so first question is the installation fee that cost more than 2-3 sets of the entire pole system is like a insurance for themselves? second question is something so minor they have to make a big issue.... i told them i will ownself settle the pole system, he will get his carpenter to redo the entire carpentry. end up they compensate a different hood and do the cutting of pole by about 1CM. also upon signing, do not expect too much of a design advice will be given and they just want to get the job done.. p.s. they will only be extremely prompt only if they can get more $$$ out of you. their so called manager and director in the chat also don't really bother to manage until shit happens which is what I feel normal and just a act that they have many people who cares... but what's worst is when issue is brought up to them, they will just want you to quickly pay and proceed to the next part of the job EVEN when the previous job wasn't done properly. Over quoting for measurement(at carpentry finalized stage)... either he never diligently go through or just want to take extra $$$$ out of you and also who will charge $1,200 for 7 wardrobe door recess handle(JUST THE HANDLE) averaging at $171 per recessed handle , it is just a rounded cutout from the wardrobe.. the most epic part of the process, upon confirmation of carpentry and carpentry payment that was done face to face... i told him to remove the vinyl cost as HE SCREW UP YET again in ordering the vinyl selection given by us way back... which was roughly 5k, upon deducting the 5k... the grand total didn't budge a single cent... i questioned him and his initial reaction was it is correct ah... and he calculate again end up grand total deducted for about 9k.... meaning that previous removal of items was just on paper but grand total didn't change... so if i didn't question him then i would have overpaid 9k... BIG question is this a responsibility of a customer to keep on checking every bit of the process to schedule to updates to checking through the quote.. i do agree to a certain extent of human error... but 9k worth of human error... i have to reschedule so many things like electronic, bed, furniture and toilet stuff SOOOOO many times. before signing of contract on June 2025, they mentioned if start work at Mid October... he say that rough estimation of moving in is end of the year.. prior to defect check we were only able to move in on February 14. we didn't drag any payment... my house is just a 4rm resale.. up to now in late July we still in defect check phase... 8 Months of work.... and i get TRASH level quality work done.. we have to extend our rental for 2months to move into our house in this kind of situation... sooo many more shit work happen to me like calling in me in the middle of a working day and requesting me to immediately get someone down without notice to remove ceiling fan and aircon for plastering work to be done... this level of Project management works is "top notch"... i questioned his Director to get someone down immediately in the middle of the day all of a sudden, he might not even be able to provide. as if i have many worker waiting for me to give them work to do... during initial works, plastering works are not done properly... tiles in toilet and kitchen have issue like protruding sharp edges, flooding in toilet due to water is not flowing down to the drain, partial clogging due to his tiler threw some tiles down the drain. do tell me whether this ID got even come up and check for all these issues by himself at all... Current situation, defect check trip was done multiple times.. the workmanship of his people is just pure disaster.. making a mess of the house.. tiler has been here for 4 rounds, issue still persist like bad tiling work still exist.. painter came over and paint and say too many place need to plaster, he advise to get the whole house plastered again... and have to come 2 times. I have taken more than half of my annual leave to see through this nonsense and ID were insisting to handover by this week because his BOSS say to handover things quickly as it was 7 months after the expected renovation period DUH thanks to his crappy work standards and planning. imagine having to spend your free time seeing people making a mess of your house again and again and cleaning things up. In Summary -Horrendous project planning -0 Communication -high price up charge -horrible workmanship -close to 0 advise given on his own initiative for design purpose and we have to keep asking for advise. -no update along phases of work. -chase money number 1 p.s. little did i know i have a friend who have done their work with them around the same time as me but with another "designer" also got screwed over here and there by their "standard"

RuiYang and Jaecee Helped me a lot from the first start when we approached them for Reno Idea. I think I made the right choice to head down to their office to get what we want for our house into more clear cut and detail. Mainly first my type for the interior would be just a normal ordinary house painting and hacking. However, they open up my view and idea into something more extraordinary. The idea matches with what we were looking for and directly worked under our budget as per plan They made our journey for Reno smooth and easy heading out to buy the house lighting and Accessories smoothly. I would say their pricing is transparently clear no hidden gimmick. Where they work towards the budget you are in. Most importantly they will update us and get our consent to see if those items in the house are good to use or not to change. Which I think not all IDs will initiate that. Thumbs up for that. But overall till the day of completion, I was really satisfied with their service as the hard work they gave was fantastic. Both of them were easy to communicate with and easygoing creating the best rapport with the Client are the key and and also more comfortable for us to work our ideas with. Thank you for the service 💯✨

A friend recommended Cindy to me, and I’m so glad I chose to work with her. From our very first meeting, she was professional, patient, and genuinely took the time to understand my lifestyle, preferences, and budget. She transformed my ideas into a beautiful, practical, and well-designed home that exceeded my expectations. One of the biggest challenges was that I was working overseas for most of the renovation, so I couldn’t be around to supervise the project. Cindy went above and beyond by coordinating the entire renovation on my behalf. She kept me updated regularly with photos and progress reports, managed the contractors professionally, and even helped coordinate the delivery and installation of all my furniture. Knowing that she was taking care of everything gave me complete peace of mind despite being miles away. Throughout the project, Cindy was responsive, organised, transparent, and always quick to solve any issues that came up. Her attention to detail and commitment to quality were evident in every stage of the renovation. What impressed me most was her creativity and ability to maximise every inch of space while maintaining a modern, elegant, and timeless design. She has an excellent eye for colours, materials, and finishes, and the final result looked even better than I had imagined. I can definitely understand why my friend recommended Cindy to me. If you’re looking for an interior designer who is talented, reliable, trustworthy, and truly cares about her clients, I highly recommend her. She made what could have been a stressful renovation completely smooth and worry-free, and I couldn’t be happier with my new home. I would happily recommend Cindy to my family and friends without hesitation.

Originally did our first Reno in 2023, recently wanted to add some stuff to our house and engaged Roy once again. He was thorough with his project management and it was all arranged very quickly. He accommodated our schedules and made sure that we considered carefully before proceeding and not just trying to “sell”. Will definitely find Roy again should we move / want to have another renovation. Happy with the quality of work! (Recent Reno had to install a dishwasher, previous Reno was for the whole house)

We chose Phyllis after meeting with several other IDs as she was very responsive, and she understood our design brief very well. Despite having to work within a tight schedule of 3 months due to condo management restrictions, Eric (site manager) and Phyllis worked hard to ensure that the project was always on track. We are impressed as we have heard from our friends about their unexpected renovation delays. Phyllis is always contactable and responds very quickly to our queries, which is something we valued. She was also very understanding and willing to provide her input and to facilitate the delivery of items even though we did not always buy from her recommended contacts/ vendors. She is also easy to work with and was willing to provide multiple revisions to the earlier renders provided as our design choices evolved. This was helpful in allowing us to make our decisions, especially as first-time homeowners.
