I had a very disappointing experience with this renovation contractor. Throughout the project, he repeatedly failed to keep his promises and continuously gave false deadlines, causing significant delays to my renovation. At one point, my house was left completely empty for three weeks with no workers on site and no progress made. Despite collecting almost 90% of the payment, the renovation was not even 50% completed. He also promised to bear half of my STORHUB storage fees due to the delay but eventually refused to honour his commitment. When I requested a refund, he refused, claiming that he had already paid deposits to his workers and that they were busy with other projects. After collecting our 90% payment, we can see a delay in his response and replies to us. He started to give late replies or ignore us. The lack of accountability, poor project management, and broken promises caused my family a great deal of stress and inconvenience. I hope future homeowners exercise caution and ensure they have proper payment schedules and written commitments before engaging other contractors. Most importantly, do not engage this contractor.

It was a pleasant 1st discussion meeting on 13/12/2025. We have been following up with Alexa regarding the revised quotation for many times, but she always has reason for the delaying until the end she no more reply. 1st follow up on 8/1/2026, 8.06am- She replied on 9/1/2026, 12.01pm saying that she was oversea & will update me on Monday. 2nd follow up on 13/1/2026, 9.45am- No respond from her 3rd follow up on 15/1/2026, 9.39am- She replied on 17/1/2026, 1.28pm saying that she was in hospitalized from food poisoning & will revert us ASAP. 4th follow up on 30/1/2026, 8.46am- She replied on 31/1/2026, 3.02pm saying that she caught the viral flu after her hospitalized. She said she was rushing all her backlog & will revert to us ASAP. 5th follow up on 23/2/2026, 9.27am- No respond from anymore

We’ve had a great experience with ✨ Natalie ✨ . Her professionalism, ownership and calmness throughout the process was exceptional. She takes tremendous care in building our home, almost as though it were her own, and never takes shortcuts. She often catches details that we completely miss during our site visits - e.g. she noticed that our door 🚪 knobs were installed too high and took the initiative to send them back for correction. We didn’t even notice it! This type of ID where to find 🤣 When one of our chosen dark wood laminates went out of stock, instead of taking the easy route and simply suggesting an alternative, she guided us through the matching process again, considering our other laminate, wall and floor colours. 🌈 There’s also a lot of behind-the-scenes work — measurements, material selection, proposals and coordinating with different vendors — and she took the bulk of that off our shoulders. Her design taste is excellent as well, and we’ve never had an instance where we second-guessed her recommendations. 💪 We’re approaching the end of this “not so straightforward” reno and are happy with seeing our dream home come to life. ❤️ Seriously dont look any further if you want a great experience for your reno!

Joshua is a very professional ID who plans everything well and communicates efficiently throughout the renovation process. He made the entire renovation journey smooth and hassle-free. If I could give Doreen 100 stars, I totally would.... I never once had to panic because she settled every single thing from start to finish, as she kept our renovation on schedule. I recalled back on our first consultation with her, she came up with ideas and moodboards on the type of furnishings to use. It was really useful as it helped us solidify our expectations of our new home. She's also on-site whenever she can, and we sure hope she manage to catch herself a break :/ Once again, great work and kudos to the rest of the team :)

We had a good renovation experience working with Elton. From the beginning, Elton was patient, responsive, and clear in explaining the renovation process. He listened carefully to what we wanted and gave useful ideas to improve the overall design of our home. During the design stage, Elton helped us with space planning, carpentry details, colour choices, lighting placement, and material selection. His recommendations were practical and suitable for our lifestyle, which made the decision-making process much easier. The renovation process was well managed. Elton provided regular updates and followed up closely with the contractors. Any minor issues that came up were handled promptly, and he made sure the final touch-ups were completed before handover. Our renovated home feels bright, comfortable, and well planned. The workmanship was neat, and the final outcome matched what we had in mind. Overall, we are satisfied with the service and would recommend Elton to anyone planning a home renovation.

Chance upon Elique from Deconstruct and I must say I didn’t make the wrong decision. I have met up with other IDs but Charleston’s warmth, friendly approach has won me over. He is very quick to response which is a super plus point, very practical and willing to listen to my concerns and ideas. He doesn’t up sell and is very experienced. Overall good carpentry work and trustworthy. Charleston takes charge of design work, while his partner Joey Chia oversees the project but they work very well as a team. I feel very comfortable in sharing my questions and view with them. If you are planning to renovate your home do give Elique and Charleston an opportunity. He was recommended by a friend, and I’m glad I went with him. Easy to work with, responsive (huge plus) and quick to act upon feedback. From first consultation, I felt comfortable to work with him and that’s really the most important thing. I wanted to prioritise practicality, and Max gives good suggestions while respecting my decisions. Overall, a pleasant experience and I’d strongly recommend you to consider reaching out to him - mine is a > 20 year old flat, so if you’re also looking for experienced IDs, can consider!

Our renovation is finally complete, and we couldn't be happier with the results! We engaged Anhans, with Schubert as our ID, and we're truly grateful to have had him oversee our renovation journey. I had a rather specific vision for our home and was particular about many things, from the overall design and colour combinations to the carpentry and smallest finishing touches. What I appreciate most about Schubert is how meticulous he is and how much attention he pays to details. He was patient, accommodating and always willing to listen to my ideas and requests. He understood what I wanted to achieve and made the effort to ensure that everything came together beautifully. Throughout the renovation, Schubert and his team comprising of Richard and Echo was professional and attentive, taking the time to address my concerns and accommodate changes along the way. I especially appreciate that they never made me feel like my requests were too much, even when I was particular about certain details. The best part was seeing how closely our completed home resembled the 3D renderings! It was incredibly satisfying to see everything we had discussed and planned finally come to life. The final result was exactly what I had envisioned, if not better! And even when my renovation is completed and I have already moved in with my family, the after-sales service provided by Schubert and his team continues. They still actively assisted us with some touch ups here and there which we requested, without any fuss. Found Jesigns through their videos in social media. Decided to enquire and end up having them as our ID. Very efficient and passionate about their work. The process from creating ideas with them for our house and renovation process was smooth. They were quick too in solving any problems. Even after handing over, they gave us some time to settle down and ensure everything is fine. Ultimately have no regret in having them as our ID.
