We recently completed a full home renovation for our BTO with Kenneth Kwan, and overall we are extremely satisfied with the entire experience from start to finish. From our very first consultation, it was clear that Kenneth genuinely wanted to understand what we needed, not just what looked good on paper. He took the time to ask thoughtful questions about our lifestyle, daily habits, and how we actually use our space, and used that to shape design ideas that felt tailor-made for us. Many of the suggestions were things we hadn't even thought of ourselves, but once proposed, he made perfect sense for how we live. Site visits, meetings, and updates all happened on schedule, which gave us a lot of confidence and peace of mind, especially since renovation horror stories about delays and poor communication are so common. We always knew what stage we were at and what to expect next, which made the whole process far less stressful than we anticipated. The design itself struck a great balance between aesthetics and practicality. Our favourite part has to be the kitchen as we went with an open concept layout, and the island turned out even better than we imagined. It's become the natural gathering point in our home, whether we're cooking, having quick meals, or just chatting while someone's prepping food. The dry pantry alongside it was such a smart addition too, giving us tons of extra storage while keeping the main kitchen area clean and clutter-free. Beyond the kitchen, storage was maximised throughout the flat (which matters a lot in a BTO!), traffic flow felt natural, and small daily inconveniences we didn't even flag were quietly solved. It's the kind of design that looks great in photos but works even better in everyday life. What really impressed us, though, was how Kenneth handled things when problems came up. At one point our carpentry work didn't turn out as planned, but instead of brushing it off or making excuses, he took ownership of the issue immediately and got it rectified quickly. It's easy for an ID to look good when everything goes smoothly, but seeing how responsibly and promptly he dealt with a mistake gave us even more confidence in him. Not every hiccup can be avoided in a renovation, but having someone who takes responsibility and fixes things fast makes all the difference. Pricing was also fair and transparent. We never felt like we were being upsold unnecessarily, and the quotes given matched what we were eventually billed, with no unpleasant surprises along the way. Given the quality of work and service, we felt we got great value for what we paid.

One of the worst contractor experiences I have ever had. I paid 95% of the contract price, yet less than 50% of the agreed work was completed. The workmanship was poor, and although the contractor agreed to redo the defective work, they still failed to finish the job. What they left behind was completely unacceptable — exposed raw wood, protruding nails, splinter hazards and electrical wires left hanging. These are not minor cosmetic issues; they are serious safety concerns. And the worst part? I have been living with this situation for more than a month. My home has effectively been left in an unfinished and potentially dangerous condition, despite having already paid almost the entire contract amount. I gave the contractor an opportunity to rectify the problems. They failed to do so. I then sent formal legal correspondence, and they simply stopped communicating. 95% paid. Less than 50% completed. More than a month living with the mess. Safety hazards left behind. Legal letter ignored. Zero accountability. This is an astonishing level of poor workmanship, irresponsibility and lack of professionalism. Once most of the money was collected, there was apparently no urgency to complete the job or address the problems they created. An absolute nightmare from start to finish. Think very carefully before engaging this contractor. I would not recommend them to anyone. Contractor from hell — USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Yve was our ID and, from the first meeting, we could feel her sincerity in getting to know our lifestyle, preferences, likes and dislikes which went beyond the hardware of the house. Each design element consequently proposed reflected a thoughtful intention to suit our needs and not a cookie-cutter approach. She was professional, with the right balance of sharing her views while meeting (or exploring) our preferences. We felt heard through every thought, suggestion or sudden epiphany and, in cases where our initial ideas could not work, she was ready with alternative options. Derrick the project manager was the other half of the strong duo who truly managed - by sharing clear weekly progress, preempting flaws with the contractors and foreseeing timelines even before we had to. This gave us the confidence that things were in good hands. As a true duo, every message was responded to promptly and effectively, with both Yve and Derrick taking the lead in their own areas of expertise. Like all projects, hiccups happen but both Yve and Derrick were responsive and accountable. In short, our experience with forefront interiors has been nothing but excellent, both Yve and Derrick supported us in our home journey every step of they way. We would strongly recommend them and forefront interior.

We had a great renovation experience with Nikki and Simon from Forefront Interior and are very happy with how our home turned out! 🏡✨ From the planning stage all the way to completion, Nikki was patient and accommodating with our many requests and changes, while Simon was always responsive on-site and helped to coordinate and resolve issues along the way. Renovation is never completely hiccup-free, but what we appreciated most was that whenever something came up, they were willing to listen, rectify it and work towards a solution. We also really appreciate the effort put into bringing our vision to life. Seeing everything come together into a home that feels so “us” was definitely worth the journey. Thank you Nikki and Simon for all the hard work, patience and effort throughout our renovation. We’re very happy with our new home and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an ID team! 🤍

Macauly was one of the ID assigned to us when we were searching through Qanvast. Out of the many we met and discussed, he scored higher in terms of service, proactivity, ideas, experience and attentiveness. Therefore, I decided to pick him even though he wasn’t the cheapest. True enough, he delivered what we wanted. As a first time homeowner, he helped us to anticipate and plan many things that we did not think of. He planned, coordinated all the different subcons and updated us timely as we were busy with our work. Though there were some hiccups, he followed up swiftly enabling us to move in to our new house on time. All in all, he did a good job and met our expectations(which is quite high ;))

Sky and Joey from Eight Design are wonderful to work with, they gave many good suggestions on designing my mother-in-law’s 2-room bto, colour selection of laminates and even selecting electrical accessories. Most importantly, everything was executed perfectly and super fast in exactly 2 months! Highly recommended for anyone looking for an efficient team with a good eye for design. I’m already looking forward to starting another small project to upgrade my own house with them!

Eunice is a talented, practical and highly professional designer. She has an excellent eye for colour coordination, aesthetics and details, while always considering functionality and budget. She understood the limitations of an HDB layout and found creative ways to optimise the space. Most importantly, she listened to our needs, communicated clearly and made thoughtful recommendations without pushing unnecessary or expensive ideas.

We had a great experience working with Joleen for our home renovation. She was patient in listening to our ideas and provided practical suggestions that suited our lifestyle and budget. I engaged Supreme Houzz Design specifically to renovate my kitchen, and overall I’m very pleased with the outcome. A special shout-out goes to *James and Randy*, who I worked closely with throughout the project , both did an excellent job, were consistently very responsive, easy to reach, and quick to answer every question or update I asked for. The whole team was professional from start to finish , James and Randy listened carefully to my ideas, offered practical design suggestions that fit my budget and lifestyle, and were transparent about costs right from the beginning. The finished kitchen looks fantastic clean layout, quality materials, smooth finishing work, and exactly the bright, functional space I wanted. Their carpentry and installation work were neat and well executed. The project stayed close to the timeline we agreed on, there were a couple of minor delays with certain materials along the way, but James and Randy kept me updated and communicated honestly whenever anything came up. The pricing was fair and reasonable for the quality delivered. The workers were courteous, tidy at the end of each day, and any small adjustments I asked for were handled quickly and willingly, James and Randy made sure nothing was too much trouble. It was a positive experience overall, I’d happily recommend Supreme Houzz Design, and specifically mention James and Randy for their great service, to anyone planning a kitchen renovation, and would engage them again myself if the need arises.

We had an excellent renovation experience with Space Atelier, led by Thackeray. He is thoughtful in both design and execution, putting in genuine effort to create a unique theme rather than relying on common designs. He paid attention to practical details, such as customizing cabinet dimensions to fit our existing large items. What impressed us most was his proactive problem-solving approach. Whenever issues arose, he would first think through solutions and present a clear plan to resolve them. He was responsive throughout the project, detail-oriented in execution, and worked hard to meet all timing constraints. I am extremely happy with Thiam Soon’s work on my home. From start to finish, he was professional, approachable, and highly reliable. What impressed me most was his initiative and attention to detail. He kept me constantly updated throughout every stage of the renovation and was always quick to respond to my queries. There was never any guesswork involved, as he made sure everything was clearly communicated and well managed.
