Selecting the right partner to bring our vision to life was a critical first step. After meeting with several designers across different firms, Brian Sio from SHE Interior stood out effortlessly. What truly set Brian apart was his sincerity and candor—offering honest, grounded guidance on what would practically elevate our space rather than simply agreeing to every request. His patient, approachable demeanor and deep empathy toward the spatial requirements my wife and I had for optimizing a compact footprint made him the clear choice to helm our project. Together with Brian, we set out to transform our apartment, perched high on the 53rd floor, into our personal *"haven in the sky"*—a serene sanctuary floating far above the urban bustle, where Japanese minimalism and contemporary luxury effortlessly converge. An intentional entrance & smart kitchen design Upon stepping through the front door, a tranquil foyer establishes an immediate sense of calm and arrival, anchored by ambient architectural lighting and a tactile, hand-textured feature wall on the right that gently delineates the space. Directly adjacent lies the reconfigured kitchen, engineered around strict fengshui principles and uncompromising storage solutions. Brian executed an efficient galley layout framed by rich, dark timber cabinetry juxtaposed against clean white countertops with safety-conscious, soft-curved profiles. Dual parallel ceiling coves and concealed under-cabinet task lighting illuminate the prep surface and undermount stainless steel sink with a soft, glare-free luminescence.  The dining statement & bespoke mini-pantry Positioned high above the city, establishing a distinct yet highly functional dining zone was our paramount spatial requirement. We needed seamless integration for a wine chiller and expansive storage, while ensuring the dining hub served as a striking visual centerpiece. Brian translated these requirements into an exquisite, bespoke reality. At the heart of the space is a custom 5-seater island-style dining table topped with solid granite. Suspended directly overhead is an organic, cloud-like pendant light—specially imported from overseas to anchor the Japandi aesthetic. Integrated beneath the granite top are two spacious cutlery drawers, a tailored niche housing a 30-bottle wine fridge, two ergonomic dining chairs, and a space-saving bench with built-in storage.  Extending fluidly from the entryway to the dining table, Brian installed a matching granite mini-pantry counter. Serving as our all-day beverage hub, this surface accommodates our coffee machines and Bluetooth speaker. Floating above is a golden-bronze glass display cabinet with integrated lighting to showcase our travel mementos, curated collectibles, and fine spirits. Beneath the pantry top, Brian ingeniously concealed a multi-tier pullout shoe rack facing the entrance, alongside an open storage niche facing the dining table for effortless access to our favorite bottles.  A continuous feature wall & sky-lounge ambiance Transitioning into the main living zone, the interior maintains a clean, continuous architectural line through clever concealment. The guest bathroom door is seamlessly flush with the hallway wall, creating an unbroken plane that extends effortlessly into the living area—where the study door is similarly integrated flush before terminating cleanly at the TV feature wall. A refined vertical light channel subtly accentuates the study doorway boundary, transforming a structural transition into an artistic detail.  In the evenings, dimming the primary lighting transforms the space into an executive sky lounge. Warm architectural cove lighting reflects softly off the high-gloss dark marble flooring, imbuing the room with an ethereal, cloud-like ambiance.  The bespoke TV feature wall Anchoring the living room, the TV feature wall serves as a masterclass in custom joinery and spatial proportion. The television is mounted against a layered, floating white panel backlit with warm, continuous LED illumination, balanced at the top-left by a subtle fluted timber accent. To the right, Brian integrated soft-lit, rounded display alcoves to house curated decor. Below, a floating white media console with dark-tinted flip-down cabinet fronts hovers above the polished marble floor, neatly concealing hardware and cabling while casting a soft halo of light underneath.  A completely transformed study Stepping through the flush door into the study reveals a tranquil, dedicated focus zone grounded by rich, warm timber parquet flooring. The original wardrobe was demolished and replaced with a full-height, wall-to-wall cabinetry system, maximizing storage utility while eliminating visual clutter. Nestled within the bay window framing panoramic sky vistas is a custom daybed bench featuring integrated storage drawers underneath. Layered lighting concealed within architectural niches allows us to effortlessly dial in the perfect lighting scheme to suit deep focus or evening relaxation.  A serene master bedroom sanctuary The master bedroom extends the Japandi Lux motif into an intimate, cloud-like retreat. Warm timber flooring underfoot pairs with a soothing neutral palette to evoke immediate restfulness. The focal point of the room is a custom cantilevered floating bed frame anchored against a rich timber headboard wall with concealed perimeter lighting. Beneath the bed, an intelligent motion-sensored lighting system activates the moment a foot touches the floor at night, casting a gentle, low-level illumination to guide the way to the bathroom without disrupting a restful state. Floor-to-ceiling sheer and blackout drapery are recessed into an illuminated ceiling cove, allowing us to frame the sky views by day or block out light completely for restorative sleep.  Perched high on the 53rd floor, every detail—from fengshui alignment and hidden storage to bespoke granite craftsmanship, smart motion-activated lighting, and custom floating joinery—harmonizes to create a tranquil, elevated sanctuary that my wife and I love coming home to every single day.  Looking back across this entire design journey, my wife and I wish to express our deepest, most heartfelt gratitude to Brian. Throughout the entire process—across every design iteration and technical detail—Brian guided us with unwavering patience, genuine understanding, and without a single complaint. Navigating a comprehensive home renovation can be demanding, but standing in our completed home today, it truly feels like finding the rainbow at the end of the storm—and it was worth every single moment.

I had a really great experience with Jayden from Kabi Studio during my ID search. Although I ultimately decided to proceed with another ID, I still felt that Jayden deserved a review because of how much effort and thought he put into my home proposal 🥹 Out of all the IDs I met, Jayden was definitely one of the most creative and invested in understanding the kind of home I wanted. I really appreciated that his ideas didn’t feel generic or like something that was simply copied and pasted from another project. He took the time to understand my preferences and came up with thoughtful design ideas that gave the space its own character. He was also very patient with my many questions, changes and budget considerations, and I never felt rushed or pressured into making a decision. Even when I eventually told him that I had chosen another ID, he was incredibly gracious and professional about it, which I really appreciated. It was honestly such a difficult decision because I genuinely loved Jayden’s design direction and could really see myself living in the home he envisioned for me. In the end, my decision came down mainly to my own renovation budget and having to be practical with what I could comfortably spend. If budget hadn’t been a consideration, I would have definitely chosen Jayden 🥹 While I can’t comment on the renovation execution as I didn’t proceed with Kabi Studio in the end, I can definitely say that my consultation and design experience with Jayden was a very positive one. I genuinely appreciate it and would definitely recommend speaking to him if you’re looking for an ID who is creative, thoughtful and genuinely invested in designing a home around you 🤍

I had a very disappointing experience with this renovation contractor. Throughout the project, he repeatedly failed to keep his promises and continuously gave false deadlines, causing significant delays to my renovation. At one point, my house was left completely empty for three weeks with no workers on site and no progress made. Despite collecting almost 90% of the payment, the renovation was not even 50% completed. He also promised to bear half of my STORHUB storage fees due to the delay but eventually refused to honour his commitment. When I requested a refund, he refused, claiming that he had already paid deposits to his workers and that they were busy with other projects. After collecting our 90% payment, we can see a delay in his response and replies to us. He started to give late replies or ignore us. The lack of accountability, poor project management, and broken promises caused my family a great deal of stress and inconvenience. I hope future homeowners exercise caution and ensure they have proper payment schedules and written commitments before engaging other contractors. Most importantly, do not engage this contractor.

It was a pleasant 1st discussion meeting on 13/12/2025. We have been following up with Alexa regarding the revised quotation for many times, but she always has reason for the delaying until the end she no more reply. 1st follow up on 8/1/2026, 8.06am- She replied on 9/1/2026, 12.01pm saying that she was oversea & will update me on Monday. 2nd follow up on 13/1/2026, 9.45am- No respond from her 3rd follow up on 15/1/2026, 9.39am- She replied on 17/1/2026, 1.28pm saying that she was in hospitalized from food poisoning & will revert us ASAP. 4th follow up on 30/1/2026, 8.46am- She replied on 31/1/2026, 3.02pm saying that she caught the viral flu after her hospitalized. She said she was rushing all her backlog & will revert to us ASAP. 5th follow up on 23/2/2026, 9.27am- No respond from anymore

We’ve had a great experience with ✨ Natalie ✨ . Her professionalism, ownership and calmness throughout the process was exceptional. She takes tremendous care in building our home, almost as though it were her own, and never takes shortcuts. She often catches details that we completely miss during our site visits - e.g. she noticed that our door 🚪 knobs were installed too high and took the initiative to send them back for correction. We didn’t even notice it! This type of ID where to find 🤣 When one of our chosen dark wood laminates went out of stock, instead of taking the easy route and simply suggesting an alternative, she guided us through the matching process again, considering our other laminate, wall and floor colours. 🌈 There’s also a lot of behind-the-scenes work — measurements, material selection, proposals and coordinating with different vendors — and she took the bulk of that off our shoulders. Her design taste is excellent as well, and we’ve never had an instance where we second-guessed her recommendations. 💪 We’re approaching the end of this “not so straightforward” reno and are happy with seeing our dream home come to life. ❤️ Seriously dont look any further if you want a great experience for your reno!

We had a good experience working with Yang Horng for our renovation. Yang Horng is very approachable and easy to work with. What we liked most is that he is willing to give practical and honest feedback instead of just agreeing with everything we say. His suggestions were usually very helpful and made sense for the small space we had. There were a few issues along the way, but he was always willing to listen and help sort them out. We really appreciated that he took the effort to follow up and make sure things were properly resolved. Overall, we are happy with how things turned out and glad we chose to work with Yang Horng.

It was our second time engaging Cindy Teong to design our new home. Previously we had engaged her to work on our first condo and the end results were marvellous, even our buyer chose to buy our unit because of the design after viewing several other units in the development. This time round, she did not disappoint us again with the end results, giving us precious and feasible ideas during the renovation process.
