Very good and smooth experience with Jerome and his team

Reviewed by ShuuuSubmitted 25 Apr 2026・ Project completed Jun 2026・Designer Jerome Koh

Had a really good experience Jerome and his team overall for our first home! The end-to-end execution, checking in on the status of our house at different phases and timely updates were appreciated. Jerome was also accommodative to our requests and communication was easy, always responsive whenever I had questions or small changes along the way. I also appreciated how responsible and hands-on they were throughout the whole process, making sure things were done properly and on time. The end result turned out great and we're really happy with our new home. Would definitely recommend Jerome if you’re looking for someone reliable and easy to work with 👍👍

Reliable and meticulous ID

Reviewed by Kit ChuaSubmitted 9 Apr 2026・ Project completed Jun 2026・Designer Irvin Mun

As a first-time homeowner, I had many questions throughout the renovation process, and Irvin was consistently patient in explaining everything clearly and thoroughly. Working with her was easy and pleasant, as she has an amiable and humorous character. Her calm and composed attitude helped ensure that the already stressful renovation process never felt overwhelming, even though it was difficult for me to make certain decisions such as the selection of tiles. She first struck me as a very meticulous ID when I noticed how well she organised all her project files and photos on her company’s shared server. This gave me great confidence and peace of mind, knowing that she was on top of every detail across all her projects, including mine. Her attention to detail was also reflected in her approach to planning. She took the time to carefully plan and align on every aspect of the renovation before proceeding with the actual works, rather than rushing into execution. This greatly reduced last-minute or hasty decision-making. She was also very responsive to messages, making communication smooth and reassuring throughout the process. What I appreciated most was that she genuinely values the homeowner’s perspective. Whenever there were differing views, she would thoughtfully consider how best to resolve them or find a middle ground, instead of taking the easy route of either agreeing to impractical ideas or dismissing good ones outright. Overall, her dedication and time put into the project in our various meetups/shopping trips way exceeded my expectation and went a long way in the successful delivery of a home that is not only focused on aesthetics but more importantly, highly practical and safe. Irvin was transparent about costs and demonstrated strong project management skills. As a perfectionist, she proactively had contractors rectify issues, such as instructing her tilers to redo slightly misaligned tiles before I had a chance to see them, even when it would have been easier to leave them as they were. She once shared her mantra: “If the work doesn’t pass my inspection, how can it pass the homeowner’s?” This principle stayed with me throughout the journey and fostered trust and there was no real need for me to go down on site to monitor the works much. Her after-sales service following handover has been equally impressive, with prompt coordination of contractors whenever minor touch ups were required. Overall, the renovation was delivered on time and within budget. While her quotation was generally higher than those from other interior designers I approached, the quality of work and the overall positive experience more than made up for it. She would also gently rein me in on budget considerations whenever my ideas became too ambitious, which further demonstrated that her priority was always the client’s interests rather than maximising profit. 6 months on staying in my new house, I’m pleased to say that very little rectification has been needed, and I cant think of any major “renovation regrets", a testament to her planning and detail. I’m very glad to have worked with Irvin and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and detail-driven interior designer.

Renovation review

Reviewed by Yang Kai-HuiSubmitted 8 Apr 2026・ Project completed Jun 2026・Designer Debby Low

Working with our interior designer was overall a positive and reassuring experience, with several strong points that stood out. One of their biggest strengths was their sense of responsibility and responsiveness. Throughout the project, they were consistently quick to reply, open to feedback, and proactive in addressing any questions or concerns. This made the entire renovation journey feel smoother and gave us confidence that things were being handled with care. As with most renovations, there were a few hiccups along the way. However, the designer was willing to step in and resolve issues when they arose, which we appreciated. While there were moments that suggested a slight lack of experience—particularly when dealing with finer details—these were generally manageable and improved as the project progressed. In terms of workmanship and execution, we felt that a bit more attention to detail would have elevated the final outcome further. That said, the overall result was still satisfactory, and we could see the effort put into delivering a good finish. Overall, we had a good experience working together. Their strong communication, accountability, and willingness to improve made a meaningful difference, and with more experience and refinement in details, they have great potential to deliver even better results in the future.

Great IDs, even better if they were the first and only ones...

Would have been great if Cindy and Jolene were the assigned IDs at the start of renovation. Unfortunately, had a less than pleasant experience with a now ex-staff, before Cindy and Jolene saved the day. Kudos to them for being able to pull it off despite taking over the project at late stage. The colours suggestions and ability to communicate properly helped to move the project along even though they took over at late stage of the renovation.

2.5 Storey Landed House

Reviewed by Ashley NgSubmitted 29 May 2026・Renovation in progress・Designer Thomas Poon

We have known Tom for quite a few years. 8 years back he did the renovations for our first home - a 1117 sq ft HDB resale flat and we were happy to work with him again when we moved to our current home - a much bigger landed property. Tom has been a very engaged interior designer and he and his team have provided a high degree of support to us with design ideas, project management and ensuring that overall execution was up to standard. One of the key reasons that we came back to Tom after all these years was also the quality of the finishing of his carpentry and fixtures. We’ve found them to be of high quality and durability throughout our entire stay in our first place. While Tom’s services may not be the cheapest in the market, I would definitely recommend him and his firm as the quality, diligence and assurance that he and his team brings to the job is well worth it! I’ve attached some photos of our latest renovation for reference.

Positive experience with Roy and Vanoha

Reviewed by Chin Kiat QuekSubmitted 18 May 2026・Renovation in progress・Designer Roy & Vanoha

We had the pleasure of meeting Roy from Le Interior Affairs when we headed down for the Qanvast Hangout event in late March! It was a really positive experience for us as he was very detail-oriented, and technically sound in terms of layouts, dimensions, spacing and the like, and had alot of great early ideas based off our design thoughts. We were also particularly impressed by his suggestion of us looking into designs of certain disciplines such as dopamine, so that we could narrow down a little bit more on the design specifics that we had roughly mapped out in our own design moodboard. Roy then connected us with Vanoha, and the two of them were the ones we spoke to as we continued on the proposal process. Vanoha injected another layer of intricacy with regards to design considerations, and complemented really well the technical expertise from Roy. They were patient, sincere, and thoughtful in understanding our lifestyle needs, design preferences, and the overall direction we wanted for our home. What stood out to us was their effort into reading up on our moodboard and lifestyle preferences intently before meeting us again for the first time to walk through their first proposal, but also their willingness thereafter to listen, clarify, revise, and come back with updated proposals that reflected our feedback more closely after our meetings and subsequent chats. They were also responsive throughout the process and took the time to explain their ideas, quotation details, and proposed layout changes clearly. We appreciated the effort they put into refining their proposal, especially in the later stages when they made a genuine effort to align more closely with our design vision as we developed it more over time. As first time home owners, we tend to be easily inspired by things we see online or on socials, so we genuinely appreciated Roy and Vanoha’s professionalism, warmth, and dedication throughout the proposal process as we continue to flesh out our own design preferences more. We would recommend speaking with them if you are exploring interior designers and want a team that is approachable, responsive, and willing to work through your ideas carefully whilst also being able to offer up fresh design ideas that aligns well with your preferences.

We made the right choice

Reviewed by ArinoSubmitted 31 May 2026・ Project completed Apr 2026・Designer LT and Megan

We came to the studio with absolutely no idea where to start. We hadn't done any research and were feeling quite lost about the entire renovation process. My sister recommended LT from LA Design Studio, mentioning that he is very honest, transparent with his pricing, and someone who would not hard sell for profits. After our first few conversations, both in person and over WhatsApp, it became clear to us that LT takes great pride in his work. That gave us the confidence to engage him after our very first meeting. The initial quotation was very close to the estimate he provided during the first session, and he was transparent about what was included in the scope of work and pricing. There were no hidden costs or unexpected charges throughout the renovation, apart from a few additional items that we personally requested. Although our project was relatively small and quite different from the style of projects he typically undertake, we still wanted LT to have the opportunity to exercise his design creativity. We relied heavily on his recommendations and trusted his judgment for many of the design decisions in our home. Whenever we were considering tiles, fixtures, or furnishings, we would often ask for his opinion to ensure everything remained cohesive and aligned with good design principles. Throughout the renovation, we also worked closely with Megan, who played a significant role in project coordination and design consultation. She provided thoughtful suggestions that improved various aspects of our home and ensured that recommendations from suppliers and vendors genuinely matched our needs rather than encouraging unnecessary upgrades. For example, she was quick to point out when certain options were more expensive than what we actually required. As fairly hands-off homeowners, we appreciated how smooth and comfortable the entire process felt. We chose to work primarily with their contractors and affiliated suppliers. While sourcing our own vendors might have resulted in some cost savings, we valued the convenience and peace of mind that came with having everything coordinated under one team. It made the renovation process considerably more fuss-free. Like any renovation project, there were a few hiccups along the way. Some materials became unavailable due to stock issues, and there was also an incident where our flooring vendor had incorrectly labelled sample pieces. However, these issues were addressed promptly, and the proposed solutions were more than satisfactory. For our sintered stone countertop, our original selection became unavailable. We were offered an alternative with a very similar design and, to our surprise, we ended up preferring the replacement over our original choice. The flooring situation was particularly memorable. We were initially deciding between a light brown and a light grey vinyl flooring option and eventually chose the light grey. Later, when larger samples became available in our new flat, LT and Megan suggested that we take another look as they felt the other colour might suit the space better. We ultimately changed our choice to what we believed was the light brown option, but due to the vendor's labelling error, the flooring that was installed was actually the light grey version. Once the flooring was laid, we realised the mistake, but we loved how it complemented the carpentry and overall colour palette of the home. We were worried that the issue might be discovered and the flooring redone, so we immediately informed LT and Megan that we preferred the installed flooring and did not want it replaced. They investigated the matter, identified the vendor's labelling error, and offered to redo the flooring. When we declined because we genuinely preferred the installed flooring, they still went above and beyond by securing a discount on the flooring for us, which was something we never expected. Even after final payment was made, most defects were rectified promptly. Overall workmanship was good. Naturally, there were a few imperfections, as is the case with almost every renovation project, but the items we raised were addressed satisfactorily. There were also a handful of minor issues that I chose not to pursue and inform LT/Megan simply because they were insignificant in the grand scheme of things. I tend to be quite particular and appreciate things being done as perfectly as possible, but I also understand that absolute perfection is rarely achievable in renovation work. We also deeply appreciated the thoughtful gestures from LT and Megan throughout the renovation journey. They offered us a complimentary tempered glass panel because they felt it would enhance the appearance of our entrance, which was a pleasant surprise. When we mentioned that we were considering purchasing a Wells water dispenser, they also helped us secure some vouchers. During Chinese New Year, they even took the effort to deliver festive goodies to our home, which was a very thoughtful touch. One thing we particularly appreciated was that LT and Megan were never focused on upselling. Whenever they felt that a custom-built solution did not make financial sense, they would recommend more cost-effective alternatives instead. A good example was our common bathroom mirror, where they suggested an off-the-shelf option and still helped to arrange the installation. A special thank you to Megan for her patience and responsiveness throughout the project. Towards the end of the renovation, we had countless detailed questions, some of them extremely specific, such as locating the TPR discharge pipe for our storage heater. Despite this, she always took the time to check with the relevant contractors and get back to us with the information we needed. Overall, we are grateful that our renovation experience was nothing like the horror stories that are often shared on social media. The entire process was smooth, transparent, and far less stressful than we expected. Most importantly, we now have a beautiful home that we are proud of. I wish I had photos to share alongside this review, but we're still waiting for the rest of our furniture to arrive. Once everything is in place, I'm sure the space will look even better than we imagined.

We engaged Gabriel as our interior designer, and the entire journey has been comfortable, smooth, and worry-free from start to finish. Admittedly, some may feel that the price point is on the higher side, but we strongly believe that our home is a significant investment, and we wanted someone who is accountable, responsible, and trustworthy to oversee the process. To us, it was worth paying a little extra for the peace of mind and quality of service—much like dining at Haidilao, where you pay for the experience and service you receive. One of the things we appreciated most about Gabriel was how reassuring and dependable he was throughout the project. He was always accommodating, even when we had last-minute appointments or changes to our schedule. Whenever we encountered challenges or had concerns, Gabriel consistently provided practical solutions and took the time to walk us through them in detail. His step-by-step explanations and thoughtful recommendations helped us make better-informed decisions at every stage of the renovation. We truly valued his professionalism, patience, and commitment to ensuring everything went smoothly. Not to mention, our capable Eugene, has also been incredibly responsible and responsive throughout the renovation process. He was always prompt in answering our queries and ensuring that any concerns were addressed quickly and professionally. Having both Gabriel and Eugene supporting us gave us great confidence and peace of mind throughout our home renovation journey. Thank you both so much for being a part of our home journey and helping turn our vision into reality. Reviewed by Lih Miin NeoSubmitted 31 May 2026・ Project completed Apr 2026・Designer Eunice and Eddie

It is indeed a blessing to have met Eunice and Eddie and to engage them for the renovation of our 4-room BTO. From the moment we signed the contract to the handover meeting, the 2Es took charge of the whole project, and we were blissfully shielded from any problems/issues that might have surfaced during the process. Eunice and Eddie have an eye for details, and their designs is both aesthetically pleasant and functionally practical. During the design phase, they took pains to understand our daily routines and habits and worked that into the design. They understood our requirements and it was such a joy to see the 3D rendering turn into reality bit by bit. The highlight of our design, has to be the softboard lighting in the dining area, creating an illusion of skylight, heightening the low ceiling in a HDB flat. The effect is stunning and it's the first thing visitors to our place noticed. The carpentry work is excellent and we maximise the space we have to create sufficient storage space for our needs. Just before the handover, they did an inspection of the site and highlighted spots that required minor rectifications, and pointed out areas that we did not even notice. It was so great to have them oversee every single detail and I can truly say that the whole renovation process was totally headache-free for us. They kept to the project timeline very strictly and in fact, ended a couple of days earlier than planned. Thank you Eunice and Eddie!

He went through the quotation with us line by line into the details and we appreciated the transparency. He guided us through every major and minor decision, keeping us updated weekly on the works progress. He helped make the entire renovation relatively low-stress and he was really responsive, professional, prompt, and detailed. There's definitely no renovation project without hiccups, but we only had minor ones which Zane handled well, coming with sharp solutions and suggestions. We knew he was on top of things as he even spotted and resolved some issues before we knew about it. We felt we could really entrust him with handling our home with care and sincerity.
