I must preface this to say that we didn’t sign with El Arte but we really wanted to leave a review for the excellent ID we met and worked with - Rebecca. We met Rebecca over the course of about 5 wks, and had numerous meetings with her. From the get go, she was considerate of the fact that we were still overseas, and tried her best to fit our time. She also came fully prepared, with ideas, suggestions, and even drew up 2-3 options for us - something that very few other IDs did (in the end we met close to 15). Rebecca was heard our needs/lifestyle, and Came up with ideas/suggestions that showed she truly thought from our perspective. She also came up with very cool ideas that worked with our less than ideal home layout. Being architecture trained, Rebecca also gave good, realistic advice, and was never pushy which we really valued. Her advice on things like whether a certain number of drawers were feasible made complete sense when she explained them patiently to us - that was very helpful since we were planning for our new home for the first time and had some ideas that really probably wouldn’t have worked. She also went the extra mile to check with her contractors/suppliers when we saw things we’d have wanted but they didn’t supply (like a type of swivel shower partition). She also actively negotiated for a better price for us, within reasonable limits. Perhaps what we enjoyed most about working with Rebecca was her clear explanations and her good vibes - it was never just “yes can do” or “no cannot do” - but she took time to help us understand aspects of design and explore collaboratively what could and couldn’t be done. (Her scribbled drawings are also very easy to understand/act as a good visual aid when she’s explaining). While we went with another company due to their company’s in house carpentry etc(we were mostly doing carpentry for this Reno), we will not hesitate to work with Rebecca in the future should we need any work or Reno to be done!

Roy work according to my budget and plan with care to ensure I can achieve my "dream house" idea while not overspent. He is flexible and patient in arranging meet-up with me due to my hectic schedule. Trustable! And most importantly, he can understand what my needs and wants in building my dream house. He offered extra help to source for compatible deco and accessories. Hopefully once the renovation started he can also put in equal effort to the entire renovation project.

Had the opportunity to discuss our home renovation plans with Quad R's Nigel, and we were impressed by his expertise and professionalism. He was attentive when listening to our lifestyle needs, and proposed great ideas to us. Communications-wise, it was also a smooth experience with Nigel as he relays information clearly and promptly. We were recommended Raymond from Charlotte’s Carpentry by a friend, and he did not disappoint. While we were busy preparing for our wedding and juggling a season of big life changes, Raymond took charge of everything for our new home with care and professionalism. He turned our ideas into something even better — stylish yet practical, and full of thoughtful details. He took the time to understand our lifestyle and even kept our future plans for pets in mind, making sure the space would remain comfortable and functional for years to come. Raymond also liaised closely with our other vendors, which made the entire renovation process smooth and completely stress-free for us. Found Suki when I googled for good review. I had shortlisted a few ID when I met Suki. I knew Suki is the right one after the first meeting! She communicates clearly with the floor plan ready and aware of limitations of structural wall advising what can and cannot be done. Many rounds of discussion and going thru the design which she has been extremely patience when I was fickle minded. Biggest shoutout to her passion for her job. She answers to messages 24/7 even late at night past midnight and morning as early as 7am!! Thank you Suki! She is a gem ❤️

96 designers was very helpful in the while process, enabling us to turn our imagination into a reality. They were open in discussion and try their best to cater to our needs and wishlists. After sales service were great too, as they are very responsive and always make sure things are running as they should. We’re very happy and satisfied with our new place. We had a wonderful renovation experience with our designers, Ken and Louise. Ken is very friendly, professional, and always on task. His communication is smooth, polite, and very customer-oriented. He truly cares about his clients and always responds promptly whenever issues arise. Louise’s design is exactly what we wanted — sleek, simple, and stylish. She understood our needs perfectly and created a warm and modern space that matches our lifestyle. Although there were small hiccups, such as the wrong wood color and a kitchen detail that didn’t meet our request, Ken helped solve everything quickly without extra cost. Both of them are sincere, patient, and never rushed us for payment. The painting service was excellent and neat, and we are very satisfied with the final atmosphere of our home. Highly recommended!

Solutions-oriented ID, checked. Creative and knowledgeable, checked. Candid and brutally honest, also checked. It was wonderful working with Cyrus on my first reno journey from hacking down walls, to selecting the right sintered stone colour, to putting up carpentry and accent wall. As someone who is new to a home project, I was able to count on Cyrus to provide guidance and genuine recommendations across fixtures and fittings -- he is not just an interior designer who goes above and beyond, but also a teacher (haha) and a friend. No nightmares, non of that pull-my-hair-out stories that you hear from your friends who are going through renovation. This is an easy five-star experience through and through. Would I recommend Cyrus and the Jialux team to others? 100%.

We highly recommend Yeap Sheng from MET Interior, as we never imagined a renovation experience could be so seamless—especially compared to what we went through during the renovation of our first home. We started sourcing for interior designers early as we did not want to rush into making a decision. In the end, we shortlisted MET Interior because we found Yeap Sheng to be very creative in addressing our many problems and limitations. He took note of our preferences and consistently provided suggestions that were both practical and cost-efficient. The actual renovation work began almost nine months after our confirmation with Yeap Sheng, as our home’s completion date was delayed by the developer. During those nine months, our requirements evolved, resulting in several changes to our renovation plans. Many ideas were added and removed along the way, yet Yeap Sheng remained patient and responsive throughout. We were also impressed by the virtual tour created by MET Interior, which allowed us to visualize our space in a holistic manner. When the renovation finally began, everything proceeded smoothly. Yeap Sheng was quick, efficient, and proactive in liaising with various parties (lighting, electrical, fans, etc.). It was clear that much groundwork had already been done in preparation. He worked closely with us on the finer details to ensure dimensions fit and verified requirements before installations. Even when our key collection coincided with his pre-planned vacation, he coordinated with his colleagues to ensure that the first site visit was conducted without delay. We were also impressed by the teamwork among the different IDs within MET Interior. During the renovation, I was heavily pregnant and unable to visit the site frequently. However, we received almost daily updates on the progress, and the schedule was clearly well-organized to ensure that different works were carried out consecutively without delays. The quality of workmanship exceeded our expectations. One example is when we engaged a professional cleaning company for formaldehyde removal — the formaldehyde level from MET Interior’s new carpentry was even lower than that of the original carpentry built by our developer. We are truly grateful for the entire experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Yeap Sheng and MET Interior to anyone seeking a quality, stress-free renovation journey.

Big thank you to Diana and Ivan for helping us renovate our dream home. We went with Yang Inspiration Design after meeting with multiple IDs as the quote was reasonable and design was good. Both of them gave us great ideas, were very accomodating and patient especially since we are OCD and ask A LOT of questions. Diana helped arrange even small changes that I asked for during the course of the renovation. Post renovation service was good as well with minor rectifications done within a few days.
