Our objectives were to renovate our rented-out condo kitchen, toilets and touch up so that we could move in while they renovate/brighten our old terrace house. Met five designers, two from friends' referral and three from Qanvast. All designers were shared of our objectives. One designer had mixed up our needs with their other client requests, one not able to share their plan and another was too creative. Kavin, Creative Director from Metamorph Design was the last one we met and he was shortlisted based on his ability to focus on our needs and provided a detailed plans after our first meeting. We had several meetings at Metamorph office to discuss on the timeline, plans and selecting materials, etc. Our renovation includes A&A works, demolition, built-in carpentry furnishing, electrical work, plumbing, floor retiling including water proofing, change of windows, doors, painting, etc. Having liaised with Kavin, his brother, Andy, site director and Jiaxuan, senior design director for several months, they were engaging, collaborative, patient with our changes and quick in their follow up. They were able to understand our needs/suggestion and were open in sharing their views especially on the dont's. We were happy with the quality of the material used especially carpentry work. They even accommodated our request to keep our big item furnitures on site throughout the renovation. Kavin was constantly mindful of costs despite us not giving him a budget and they have transformed our old house beyond our expectations. They have strong working relationship with their workers and suppliers.
