My wife and I got to know TIL through looking around on social media and thought their work was quite impressive. We had been staying in London for about 5 years and perhaps our idea of how things cost was a bit outdated. After we contacted TIL, Ashley Nicole, our ID, was assigned to us and gave us a quotation based on some initial discussion. To be honest, if money wasn't a problem, I would've signed the contract straightaway. The suggestions were both aesthetic and practical, and I'm sure the flat would have looked gorgeous. Unfortunately, the intial quotation blew our outdated budget out of the water and we had to pare back the quotation. During this entire cost-down process, Ashley was always transparent, never pushy or trying to hard-sell anything. She even recommended ways and means to trim certain items without compromising the look of the flat. I was very impressed by this given how many "horror" ID stories there are floating on the internet. Once we signed the contract and got to work, Ashley was quick, snappy and nothing short of professional. My wife was still in London, i.e. 8 hour time difference, and Ashley was very understanding and patient with us because while Ashley and I get to talk physically, I had to relay the information to my wife, discuss and then get back to Ashley. As you can imagine, choosing colours for cabinets, etc was an absolute nightmare because we didn't know if my phone/Ashley's phone would take a good enough photo that was colour correct on my wife's phone/laptop. Anyway, as usual, Ashley would bring us around to a few places to shop for tiles, bathroom fixtures, lights etc but I never felt forced to buy anything. In fact, I decided certain lights/bathroom fixtures I will settle on my own and Ashley was cool with it. I also must say that Ashley's choice of tiler, electrician, aircon, plumber, carpenter are all superb. Very impressed with the workmanship. Sure, there were a few hiccups along the way, but with an operation this large, there were bound to be some minor hiccups and Ashley was very quick to square those away. Overall, the reno journey was tiring for myself (more tiring for Ashley for sure) but 100% worth it. At the end of the reno journey I had a flat I was proud of and happy to invite friends and family over. Everything was transparent and I never felt pressured into anything or felt scammed. Prices were reasonable and if I felt something was too expensive or if I could DIY it, Ashley was totally ok with letting it go. I could not recommend Ashley and TIL enough to anyone who also wants to renovate their flat.

My wife and I engaged Emma from the Interior Lab via a referral of a friend. Prior to our first meeting, we had met up with several interior designers and many of them didn't listen to what we wanted for our home. They came back to us with the most expensive options and what they thought was good and nice. So before meeting Emma, my expectations were kind of low. But what really impressed us was Emma's attention to detail. And she never said no to our ideas, instead she would show us to practical side - the pros and cons, and with that, we were able to decide on the best possible options for our home. As this is our first home reno experience, Emma was also very patient to explain the whole process. Despite some unforeseen circustances that delayed our renovations, Emma was very tight with the timeline and contractors which made the whole journey a very smooth one. Needless to say, we love our home. Thank you Interior Lab and Emma for making it happen!

We had a smooth sailing and wonderful renovation experience with Emma Jin! We enlisted her services in late 2022, explaining the urgency of our tight deadline. Emma managed to complete the project within the specified timeframe and the final result looks fantastic! Throughout, Emma was professional and easy to communicate with. She consistently kept us well-informed about the renovation progress and made regular on-site visits to oversee the work. She was exceptionally responsive to our WhatsApp messages and inquiries, often providing immediate feedback and offering suggestions and ideas that we hadn't considered. Importantly, she was also frank and honest, able to advise what’s practical and impractical and no hardselling! Overall, we have no reservations about our decision to engage Emma's services, and we would recommend Emma and TIL to anyone looking to renovate. :)
