We started renovating our 20-year-old resale apartment in April 2021. Although we had moved-in in 2014 itself, we couldn't do a proper renovation until now. Renovating an existing, occupied resale apartment is challenging compared to renovation a brand new, unoccupied apartment. Because, with people already living in, there's a limitation on how much we can change. Furthermore, renovation needs to incorporate existing structures, furniture etc., After reviewing the 5 IDs provided by Qanvast (we added a 6th one on our own), we decided to go ahead with Solomon from Butler Interior. Out of the IDs that we looked at, Solomon showed genuine interest in our renovation. Butler Interior's prices were reasonable compared to other IDs. Above all, we liked Solomon for his outspoken quality and openness in expressing his views. Solomon brought great ideas to the table, and we felt a connection with Solomon. We didn't go wrong with our decision. Solomon patiently listened to all our needs and captured this thoroughly in the design process. He is not pushy or hard-selling to hike up the quotation value. The design was close to our expectations. Renovation started on reasonable timelines, although, got stretched due to the ongoing pandemic situation; Lockdown of Malaysia, Restrictions in Dorms, Visitor limitation, to name a few. However, throughout the renovation, Solomon was forthcoming and flexible in accomodating our requests. No renovation is smooth; ours was no exception. But it's important how much you trust your ID and work with your ID to resolve those problems. Here is where Solomon scores full marks for his transparency and trustworthiness. In hindsight, we could have avoided some problems. Nevertheless, the positive outcome of the renovation overshadowed any shortcomings. Finally, to quote Shakespeare, All's well that ends well. We are thoroughly pleased with the quality and visual appeal of our renovation. Thank you, Solomon and Butler Interior, for making our home look delightful. Daryl showed initiative and consideration for everyone's needs throughout the renovation process. He was mindful of my budget and gave helpful advice. He took the time to understand what we wanted, and followed through without my having to check on him. He showed integrity and committment to how we wanted the house furnished, and never gave excuses for delays. When a problem came up, he was patient and helped to navigate the challenge. His design solutions were excellent and exactly what we wanted for our unit. I would recommend Daryl heartily.

I was impressed by a friend’s place and he gave me Randy’s contact. As it was my first home, I got a little too excited and bought most of the furniture beforehand. I had a rough idea of how I wanted my home to be and I relayed it to Randy. He was able to get what I was going for during the first meeting and he was able to create a concept that is able to meld everything together. The quote came later and the reasonable price was a bonus. Randy with his experience persuaded me to let go of some designs I had in mind as it is not practical. In hindsight, I am glad he did that. He is bold in his design and I am willing to try out new things, I am so grateful that I found the right match!
