Fifth Avenue Interior

I shortlisted and selected Fifth Avenue Interior via Qanvast reviews and meet the ID several times. Pricing wise they were about mid range compared to the other 4 ID i shortlisted. The renovation was actually very simple, full hack of master bathroom, rewiring, plaster ceiling across the apt, painting and varnishing the floors. That's all and that took 3.5 months. Overall the experience was very very TERRIBLE. The experience was terrible due to the 3 areas below: 1. Mistakes: They made many mistakes which lead to ALOT of rework and workman in my apartment some weeks 6 days out of 7 days. The mistakes include e.g. staining the white marble floor which required hacking of the floor AFTER everything was completed, staining the granite slabs in the bathroom which required hacking of the floor AFTER everything was completed (so yes my bathroom was hacked a total of 3 times of which 2 times i was already living inside), scratching the marble counter top 3 times which lead to the top being polished 3 separate times, designing a vanity cabinet too big till the shower door cant close, confirming the air con could sit at a certain height and then realizing the measurement is wrong so they broke the plaster ceiling all over again, chipping the shower screen glass so they had to reinstall a new one, installing both toilet bowl off center/ tilted, kept on scratching the doors so they needed to be varnish several times, not covering the floor outlet so they got filled with cement and needed to be unclogged, scratching the Grohe bidet sprays because they used it to mix cement, scratching the Hansgrohe basin mixer because they polished the top several times without protecting it. the list can go longer but i shall stop here. 2. Workmanship. their workmanship is very mediocre not the worst but it is very clear their work man are not used to dealing with more high end items. My bathroom cabinets were made 3 TIMES, yes fabricated, installed and taken down because each time the quality was so bad (e.g. panels had difference heights, mirrors had scratches, gap between edge mirror and frame which should be coated was so big you could slide 10 A4 papers in between). They kept on staining and scratching the marble and granite slabs on the floor and countertops. Some of the plastering work is very bad when the light hits the wall you can see like peanut butter smearing on the walls. 3. Delays. There were massive delays. they were delayed by 1.5 months for what they had originally projected and committed to complete the renovation (which is very simple) in 2 months so in total the renovation was 3.5 months and to speed things up i even had to take time of work to be there when their workman were there because if i didn't they would delay things even more. The countless mistakes lead to alot of rework and this was one of the major reason for the delay. as mentioned the bathroom was hacked 3 times because they kept staining the marble floor. Overall: I will never use them again or recommend.

Had the pleasure of working with Ron and Joleen for our first BTO. They are truly wonderful people to work with. They provided suggestions and ideas on how to design and better manage the small space we had. They were patient with our many questions and more importantly they provided prompt and frequent updates and delivered us a place we are proud to call home. They were able to meet the timeline planned and were able to deliver works that were of such great quality.
We are so glad you like Fifth Avenue Interior's work, they make all the hard work worthwhile. Thank you again!

Adulting sucks and being a first time homeowner can sometimes be a daunting and stressful thing. However, with the right people guiding you it can be a very pleasant experience. This is how Pamela Soh and Jay from Fifth Avenue Interior came into the picture. They took all my scattered thoughts and messy ideas and organized them into a beautiful and functional home. From the beginning, everything was explained clearly and patiently, recommendations were always on point and they were always communicating every step of the process from planning to the renovation and the handover. Site visits and photo/video updates were regular and they would even go out of their way to help me in deciding what tiles, lighting fixtures and furniture/fittings would suit the best even if that meant meeting up outside of their working hours or on weekends. Fast forward and I have been living in my home for 6 months and everything still looks and feels as good as the day I moved in which also goes to show the quality of the craftsmanship and skill of the contractors that Fifth Avenue engages. It also helped that Pam and Jay have a very good working relationship with their contractors! So if you're looking for peace of mind and a hassle free experience to your home renovations coupled with creative designs, original concepts, skilled contractors and hardworking IDs, choose Fifth Avenue Interior!

Engaging 5th Ave Interior to oversee the renovation of our hdb apartment was the best decision ever. During our ID shortlisting process, 5th stood out to us as a professional and reputable firm with excellent interior aesthetic sense. And we were proven right in every aspect. Our assigned designer, Ron, was a true professional from start to finish and we were lucky to have him managing our project. Though conceptually our design approach differ, Ron was a good listener/communicator and was able to fully understand what we were seeking aesthetically. The mood board, 3D renders and carpentry drawings presented to us were mostly right on point with very minimal amendments required. When the reno started, Ron was always prompt in keeping us updated with the progress. Like all renos, issues would crop up every now and then but Ron was always quick to work with the contractors to address them. Not forgetting, we also had Zane, an aspiring ID that was working tirelessly with Ron throughout the reno process to ensure that all workmanship and carpentry were of high quality. Now that we are 2 months into staying at our new home, we are really loving it and it wouldn't be possible if not for Ron and Zane persistence for excellence! Thanks 5th Ave Interior, Ron and Zane!
