Hi everyone, I would like to share some feedback as we are now at the final stage of my renovation. I want to express my appreciation to Vincent for his support and professionalism throughout the entire renovation process. From planning to execution, he has been responsible, responsive, and patient in addressing our questions and design adjustments. He also coordinated well with the contractors and kept us updated proactively at each stage, ensuring the progress and workmanship were well managed. We are very satisfied with the overall outcome. My renovation is about 80-90% done at this point. We originally engaged Katelyn for her design and we are comfortable explaining to her our ideas. Her design sense resonated well with us and we would seek her opinion on other stuff like furniture selection etc. Like any renovation, mine had its share of hiccups. As new home owners, there are areas that we are not familiar. This led to some shortcomings during the project, but Katelyn did put in the effort to resolve issues timely for the project. She also adapted the schedule to accommodate our travel plans. Part and parcel of the renovation journey. Happy with the carpentry workmanship. I am looking forward to the final outcome.

The atmosphere I want to express for Comuna Interior is rooted in a distinctly Singaporean sense of minimalism: calm, clean, modern, and deeply intentional. It is the kind of environment where simplicity is not emptiness, but clarity; where every material, every texture, and every line is chosen with purpose. The feeling should be one of quiet refinement, the type of space that naturally slows the mind, encourages ease, and supports a lifestyle grounded in balance and intentional living. Nothing should feel excessive or ornamental. Instead, the beauty comes from restraint — the soft harmony created by well-chosen materials and thoughtful spatial flow. The palette is gentle and contemporary, leaning into warm neutrals and subtle natural tones that feel at home in Singapore’s tropical light. Think soft beige, warm sand, muted taupe, white with warmth rather than starkness, and light grey that feels airy instead of cold. These tones are complemented by occasional accents in charcoal, matte black, or soft sage, used sparingly to add depth and rhythm. The goal is a palette that invites calmness and feels cohesive across different rooms, creating a seamless sense of continuity. Materials play a critical role in shaping this minimalist identity. Natural woods with light or medium tones, smooth stone-like surfaces, textured fabrics, and matte finishes form the foundation. Oak, ash, birch, bamboo, and muted walnut tones blend effortlessly with micro-cement textures, woven textiles, and soft fabric upholstery. The tactile feeling should be comforting, grounded, and subtly luxurious. Everything should feel pleasant to the touch — not glossy or overly polished, but warm, matte, and refined. This approach reflects the quiet sophistication found in modern Singapore apartments, condominiums, and landed homes where space is optimized, clutter is controlled, and everything has a place. Lighting is one of the most important emotional elements. The mood should be soft and layered rather than bright and harsh. Warm lighting temperatures, recessed lighting lines, hidden LED strips, diffused glows behind panels, and gentle wall washes all contribute to a serene atmosphere. Natural light should be embraced: sheer curtains that allow sunlight to filter in softly, reflective surfaces that subtly brighten the room without overpowering it, and layouts that encourage open flow. The lighting design should feel calm, never clinical, and always supportive of relaxation and clarity. The emotional experience is one of quiet luxury — understated, peaceful, and timeless. It is a space where you instinctively feel lighter, clearer, and more grounded. The layout should prioritize openness and effortless movement. Storage should be invisible, integrated, and clean. Decorative elements should be minimal but meaningful. Spaces should evoke clarity rather than emptiness, comfort rather than complexity. This Singaporean minimalism isn’t about less for the sake of less; it is about creating a home or environment that feels breathable, intentional, and mentally freeing. It is simplicity with soul, calmness with character, and minimalism with warmth — the essence of refined modern living in Singapore.

Katelyn has been very patient with our requests and consistently acts on them promptly whenever something is raised. She provides professional aesthetic advice without being pushy, which makes discussions feel very comfortable. We also feel comfortable speaking with her which is something that gives us a strong sense of security. Overall, we appreciate her responsiveness and the assurance she brings as the project progresses.

I engaged Benny and Alvan for my home reno, and they are IDs who know their craft. Throughout the entire process, they offered practical recommendations that I wouldn’t have known on my own. They were able to propose solutions that made sense. They were always willing to accommodate my requests and went the extra mile to make things happen just the way I envisioned. Overall, I’m satisfied with the results and grateful for their hard work.

We are happy with the outcome of our renovation project with Mac. His patient and accommodating demeanor was a major plus point throughout the project, transforming what we have thought to be a typically stressful experience into a smoother one by ensuring we felt comfortable with every decision. We appreciate his fast response time to our communications. Furthermore, Mac has helped with coordinating and dealing with the various contractors, managing schedules, overseeing work, and engaging us in resolving any issues that arose. We appreciate all his efforts in the process and delivering the completed project.

Engaging Earth interior design was a huge mistake , lacking of discipline and coordination throughout the whole process. This revamp of my two bathroom project was taken noting that we are staying in the house and the mass amount of debris , equipments, water pails , big pile up of cement and tiles were scattered everywhere like a manufacturing factory .The designers are dressed very sloppily with T slippers and were seldom on site with supervision responsibilities. Anyways, it would not make any differences with a punch card attitude which I realised later on .. the plumbers refused to lay protection gear so we ended up with a faulty door with scratches and unable to close . There are hints of low quality job like constant dragging of job completion time frame , undelivered 3D design , scarce communication job requirements with their plumbing and tiling foreign workers which we thought it is just hiccups along the way . The decision to end the project despite incomplete renovations was when we entrusted them with our house , the door was left open and the tiler decided to raise a big , ugly , outdated shower kerb to his liking . The whole thing was a add on disaster when the “hulk @ Lloyd came into this project with directive commands to his team to stop all works threatening to leave all the debris , equipment and others in my house defending the grave mistakes. The poor workmanship of cracking and uneven tiles on the bathroom , poor plumbing works was a far sight of what we saw at the showroom .. up to now , my two bathrooms are incomplete and the same way as it is but we are glad to end this devastating experience.

I chanced upon Mr Designer Studio as my second option ID when my first ID went uncontactable after first site visit. I am really grateful and lucky to have met Mr Lewis and Mr Jevons to continue my renovation journey with them. Have been staying for 18 years without proper renovations , my family and I decided to revamp our whole house, to replace with new furnishings, do up some permanent fixtures and repainting. Mr Lewis and Mr Jevons were responsive despite their busy schedules and consistently followed throughout the entire renovation process. They took time to understand our needs, concern and preferences. With all aspect, from the flooring to the fixtures, was carefully considered and expertly executed. The space now feels modern, comfortable, inviting and it's as if we have moved into a new house without leaving the comfort of our familiar surroundings. The after renovation difference was truly remarkable, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Our home now feels rejuvenated, comfortable, and ready for many more years of memories. I highly recommend Mr Designer Studio and many thanks to Mr Lewis and Mr Jevons for their professionalism and dedication, going extra miles to make our home more comfortable. A trusty and reliable ID that I didn’t regret to engage.

Hi ! I was renovating my flat recently. I decided to look around for an ID. Contacted and met many IDs. Eventually, I thought I found the right ID company. This was a big ID company. I was assigned to work with a Senior Designer Lead ID. He was 45 minutes late for an appointment at my flat. There were other issues with him. I asked the boss to change to another ID. After working with the new ID, I signed contract and paid deposit. This new ID also has problems. He will call me to scold me twice, asking me why I wrote those WhatsApp messages to him, where his boss is also in the chat, to monitor him. He asked the boss to cancel my contract. The boss agreed and cancelled my contract, even though they are a CaseTrust registered company. I later found that there was no mention of CaseTrust in their contract with me. I then looked around and found Renologist Pte Ltd where I was assigned to Ms. Penny Phang. Penny is exceptional when I compared her good attitude compared to my experience with the previous IDs. She will accede to all my requests on the renovation works. She will try her best to make good any imperfections. My project was a reasonable size (it is not small). Also, I found that Renologist costs are reasonable.

I would like to express my appreciation to Jerie from Yang's inspiration and her team for the excellent work done on my home. The workmanship throughout the project was impressive, and everything was completed according to schedule, which made the entire renovation process smooth and stress-free. The tiler, electrician, plumber, and carpenter all did a fantastic job — professional and skilled. Their quality of work truly shows in the final outcome. Thank you to the whole team for making the renovation process smooth and delivering such great results. Highly recommended!

We’re glad we chose to work with Jordon from Key Concept for our renovation! We spoke with several other IDs but eventually decided to go with him. What stood out was that he was warm and easy to communicate with, his ability to give practical suggestions while still aligned to our wants and not compromising too much on our budget. From the initial consultation to the final touches, he was attentive and professional. He took time to listen to our ideas and turned them into a beautiful and comfortable space. Even when there were issues that cropped up during/ after the renovation, Jordon was quick in fixing them. It’s only been a couple of days since we moved in, and I’m already loving it here. It’s tough to pick a favourite spot in the house because every room has its own little detail that makes it special. Would recommend Jordon and the Key Concept as the whole process was stress-free, and the results are amazing. :))

I am pleased with the interior design service provided for my residence by Cindy from Jesign. She clearly understands our requirements and shower us with lots of patient. She is always contactable and responsive. She helps to resolve any issues we had immediately. She is always very helpful, patient and attend to our enquiry promptly. I admire her dedication to seeing a project through from start to end… She demonstrates remarkable skill in transforming my place to an amazing home that we dream to had. It is very cozy and beautiful. Would definitely recommend Cindy to my friends/relatives who are looking to renovate their home. Once again, Greatly appreciate all your hard work and effort!
